  1. It's kind of odd that he's going to end his time here in the same peculiar way as he started his time here. AWOL with no detail on where he is.
  2. I think if you play him regular it will be chaos at whatever level we play at, there's not a magic formula that's going to make him any less rash in the Championship as he is in the PL. Cannot criticise the commitment he shows, but I think a lot of it is played up to the camera to cover up his limitations. If we're serious about moving on from this horrific era of crap players then he we cannot be pinning hope on failures like him. Let him go back to Brazil.
  3. As a fan base we're pretty placid really, so I've never understood any criticism directed towards the fans for the 'bad performances'. Have we tried to kill the directors like Everton fans? Have we chased our players cars down Britannia Road? No. It's been a bit of a slow death for us all, so the players are used to losing in addition to us - it's just the routine for the weekend now, we lose football matches and has been for at least 3 years. The most these players have got from us are boos at the end of the game, given what we've had to put up with for years I think they've got off incredibly lightly.
  4. First thing we have to get right are the people making the calls - manager, scouts, recruitment, directors. That all needs to be in place so the people making the calls for next season are the people who are invested in it. Before we spend a single penny or sell anyone the above needs to be in place, but I think we all know that won't happen. We'll probably get to August still claiming we are comfortable with the current situation as Horseman and Martin line up to take charge for the first game.
  5. It's been a weird season really, since Christmas it's been pretty much done and dusted, so it's been like a slow death since then. We've not been involved in the relegation battle at all, no matter what the media say. For that reason alone it's been easier to accept as it's been obvious, but by the same token the hate I have for these players is greater than would have been if they had an ounce of heart/effort about them.
  6. There's having heart and there's being an absolute lunatic. You cannot build a stable team around Lyanco, it would be impossible. It would be chaos every week. He needs to go back to Brazil.
  7. Jesus christ, give it up will you.
  8. Or a LB, CB, RW, CM or AM. Basically he's not a footballer.
  9. We were better in attack because of that, but we let in 4 goals because we missed his off the ball work. That must be it.
  10. We are lower league though.
  11. The decision being made leave me nervous for the summer, 100% - but I will just be happy that we won't have Diallo, AMN and co trying to play football for us next year. Dare I say it, I probably won't miss JWP's impression of a crab in open play either.
  12. That's not a particularly hard task tbh.
  13. Start again without some of these bloody losers is a start, and it's not all about money as this season has more than proven. Give me some heart and spine and I'll be happy, this lot can go to hell.
  14. Stu was blowing out of his arse
  15. Proud of what, exactly? They've just let in 4 goals to a team in the bottom 3 of the league. There is nothing to be proud of, this team are an embarrassment to the City and the history of this club and will forever be remembered as our WORST ever top flight team, nothing even comes close. Stick that in your trophy cabinet AMN.
  16. Nah, he's not got any talent. It should be an offence that he's trying to be a footballer, I wouldn't even let him coach my kids.
  17. I'm actually excited to get rid of these players, can't wait for the season to be over so we can start again. Some decent baseline tools to work with, but christ we need a new spine, bollocks and heart throughout this side. I wouldn't even call them bottlejobs, they're not that good.
  18. How is AMN out for the second half? That performance was enough for an immediate dismissal in any other industry.
  19. That left channel as well, and guess who is playing that hybrid role there. What a shit team we have that we cannot replace a left back with an actual left back.
  20. I'll be honest, I think we'll struggle to get takers for ABK this season which may be somewhat of a positive. He seems as injury prone as an OAP and is still very raw, probably too raw for the top level.
  21. He should not be playing football or part of any professional football club at any capacity. Stealing a living is used a lot, but in this case he really is. I'm fairly confident Sunday league players would be better options than him. I think he's the worst PL player we've ever had, and this season has certainly given us lots of options to select from.
  22. Standard really, statistics that lull people into a false sense of us actually playing well. Lots of pissing around with it, no huge openings, but Forest stick a bit of thrust behind their limited attempts on the ball and look what happens.
  23. Cracking result so far for Leeds, Forest and Everton. Doesn't make a tiny bit of difference to us though. I can imagine Forest will just have too much for us tonight, they know what a win will do now.
  24. The drowned out the national anthem with incessant booing.
  25. He may well do, but I don't think we should ever look back on him as a missed opportunity if that does happen. He has stunk this place out for 2 years, sometimes players just don't fit a club for whatever reason and no matter how you try and prolong it - it won't change. I'd be more focused on building a team of players who could make the step up to the PL, rather than keeping around the guys who have failed us - as we all know they can't make the step up.
