The MK Dons game, I think that gave the fans and the players the mental belief and lift that they can win promotion. If we'd have lost that 2-0 it would have really affected us mentally IMO. Since that game we've been like a juggernaunt tbh. (apart from the rochdale game)

We don't need a LB though, that's the last position i'd strengthen. We'd have Mills, Harding and Dickson there next season.

He was the right choice from day 1, never understood people that were against him straight away. He ticked every single box we needed at the time. No better choice. - Experience in L1 - Experience of Auto promotion and play offs in L1 - Experience in the championship - Young enough to grow with the club...

I'm enjoying watching how utterly tosh they look at the moment, Norwich are tearing them one, should be 2 up really. Once all their loans go and their out of contract players leave that should be 6 points done and dusted next year.

We also beat Ipswich in the cup, and Blackpool who put out a championship level team. We'll be fine up there, too good for this level anyway.

Would love for Norwich to go up, what a story. Cardiff always choke though. Must admit I can see why some of their fans are starting to question Jones, they kept hold of the likes of Bothroyd, Chopra, Wittingham, brought in Bellamy etc and they look like coming up short again.

No thanks - Mellor is not good enough for us now. Don't really rate Rob Jones either, don't think we should be going for L1 players anymore tbh. Let's buy the best of the championship!

Let's just ride on the crest of a wave, we've got great momentum at the moment and should be able to attract some top players in the summer. No reason why we cannot compete at the top end - should be an exciting season to look forward to.

Absolutely fantastic, it was expected at the start of the season but the start seriously handicapped us. The run of form which has taken us into second has been astonishing and something I've never experienced as a Southampton fan. Saturday cannot come soon enough, I'm absolutely ecstatic. Best day as a Saints fan for years.
