Club can't win. It's too quiet, so they invest. Now it's too noisy. I don't think it is too loud, at least it's audible now. The fact it didn't use to be audible caused more disgruntlement among the people around me than it does now.

These sort of players need a run in the side, but I don't think we have a strong enough 'centre' to deploy him, tadic and redmond from the start.
-
I don't think anyone has really taken to him, the fan base as a whole is pretty 'meh' about him. He doesn't even have a song...!!! Still don't think he's a bad guy though, has the right idea's, but hands have been tied in more than one way this year. We've gone backwards though, no denying that.

Southampton 0 Bournemouth 0 - Match & Reactions
S-Clarke replied to Pass the Dutchie's topic in The Saints
Lucky 2nd half, plenty of luck on our side! First half was ours, 2nd was theirs. First half was much of what we've seen this year though, very little movement, creativity or sharpness in the final third. All played in front of Bournemouth and through the middle, although we were on top. 2nd half we completely lost our way, tactically we were all over the shop for 45 mins. Completely lost control of midfield, the defense was like keystone cops. This has been such a non-event of a season really (league wise), but we were due one. Not much more to add really. -
He only joined WBA a few weeks ago for like £15m Don't particularly rate him, he's just another midfielder in the same ilk as our others.
-
People seriously read way too much into what he predicts. It really means very little.

My email to the club concerningpre-game music and atmosphere

The club seemingly can't win with the tannoy system. Up until this season it was pointless, you couldn't hear interviews on pitch, score announcements. This was a major gripe for quite a few people and the club did listen to this, and bar some tweaking in the early part of the season (where it was seriously loud...)! they have got the balance right now. I don't think it's too loud, and it's certainly not too quiet anymore. It's the right balance. I think the club should be applauded for actually listening to our concerns on that and improving it, rather than using the improvement as a stick to bash them with! -
The price of Sky is just ridiculous, it's unjustifiable and people need to boycott it as they have a monopoly and it's wrong. Same with BT Sport if you don't have BT Broadband, heck even their sales pitch of it being free if you had broadband has now gone....so everyone has to pay for it. I used to pay £90 odd per month for Sky and I don't know why I did, i must have been mental. Get yourself a freesat box, an Android box and do away with your subscriptions. There's more content available for free than there is on sky.

If people want to stream PL games, they will always be there. Ultimate Mania/Sports Mania have been disconnected by their 'hosts' numerous times, but they are setup with a new host in a matter of minutes. And as is mentioned, as long as you are behind a VPN then there is very little an ISP can do. (well, they could block VPN's or throttle traffic - but this will hit everyone, not just streamers - so not exactly fair) Also the sources and hosting locations for Sports Mania/Ultimate mania are all over the world, so don't fall under UK law. The setups for streaming is so advanced now, it's a far cry from finding a link on a popup ridden site - so it's going to be near on impossible to close it out. They tried with pirate bay and torrent sites, that never went away.

Yeah Pontus is class, seen a few Leeds game this year and he stands out like a Virgil in that league - just walks it. They did really well to get him, surprised Leeds were able to attract someone of his ability..!
-
Liverpool look disgusting tonight. Not sure why anyone thinks Lucas can play at CB, mental.
-
Who is a better option as opposed to Redmond? He was terrific yesterday and has been pretty good for us all year. He offers us real pace which we don't really have elsewhere.
-
His movement is on a different planet. Defenders are going to have to be wide awake when he's around. He's not obviously quick in terms of his all round game, but his little darts and moves are done quickly. He seems to have that instinct as well. Both goals at Sunderland, both goals yesterday (and the third..) were from instinct. Didn't have time to think about it, just hit it.

Best team lost, no real debate really. I watched some of the highlights and Neville mentioned it perfectly, Utd won it in the 'moments'. They weren't in that game for large parts and didn't put us under nearly as much pressure as I thought they would have. We scored 3 good goals, hit the bar, had one cleared off the line, missed a couple of balls rolling across the line.....I cannot remember too many moments Utd had apart from their goals. You need luck in games like yesterday, we didn't have any.
-
I don't think we've been ''well off the pace'', a little bit frustrating to watch but the amount of games we've played has been insane. Absolutely bonkers. Don't remember in recent times having us play pretty much twice a week all season. We were going to drop off, victim of our own success really. I enjoyed the Europa League, but for clubs of our size and stature it is a complete killer. We're not the first club it's harmed and we won't be the last.

Completely over the top.
-
I think he's garbage to be honest, given the amount of money he'd want. Man Utd would probably want 10-15m for him. Watching him against us made me cringe.
-
We're not going to be replacing Forster or selling him, so it's not really worth debating.
-
I'm not going to jump onto the bandwagon certain people are seemingly keen to (i.e he's always been crap, L1 keeper etc). He's not right this year though, his mobility was better than this before. He's having a truly forgettable season and the only thing I can attribute to it is that he's carrying an injury of sorts. He hasn't been this bad before.

As a team, we really couldn't have done much more. In big games at Wembley, especially when you're the ''smaller'' side, you need luck on your side - we certainly didn't have that yesterday. That was the difference really. A couple of inches under the bar and Romeu made it 3-2. The linesman doesn't have an off day, and it's 1-0 to us before they score. Those little things make a huge difference to the 'underdog', and we needed them to fall in our favor for sure. But the performance was as good as we've put in all season, we attacked with purpose, pace and got in behind them on numerous times. I thought JWP had a standout game in the middle of the park and it was pleasing to see him finally live up to the potential, he would have certainly caught the eye of some yesterday. It's hard to critisse anyway, but you have to say that with VVD and or 'another' experienced centre back in that side, we wouldn't have conceded that last goal. Stephens inexperience showed massively yesterday and Maya had to cover him on a couple of occasions, and he had an amazing game for what it's worth. But the sad thing is that we shouldn't have been going into our first final since 76 with an inexperienced kid at the back. That will always be my main gripe and it did cost us. But the overriding feeling is - proud. We fought to the death, even at 2-0 down we still believed - a lot of sides would have given up and packed up at that point. So credit to the team, the manager and the coaches for what was seemingly 2 great weeks of coaching and preparation. Final word from me goes to Gabbiadini - incredible goal finish for that 2nd. To come into a new league and have 5 in 3 is incredible, he really does look the real deal. All in all a great day, hopefully we get back there again soon.

Huth and Morgan have always been pretty dog **** players at this level, they got luck last year because they had a machine in front of them. They're now exposed to **** and you can see how incredibly limited they are. Kante was enormous for them, his play was infectious and he the protection he gave their defense enabled the entire team to play on the front foot. They have to play a different way now, and they've reverted to form. I feel sorry for Claudio, talk about victim of his own success. If there was any sense they'd have sacked some of the under performing players before the manager, they're more culpable.

Spurs must be looking forward to playing at Wembley every week next season.

If he signed on Monday, or friday, he wouldn't be available for Saturday whatever fitness wise.
-
Seriously, why can people not see through his act?
