  1. Ok, can you please tell me what's rubbish about it exactly? What have I said which discredit's his work here? Say that if you want, but back it up...?
  2. You keep going on about this. Is her money ours then? Do we have access to all of her money?
  3. Umm, i'm not? I'm not discrediting his work at all? you've totally and utterly misread what i was saying. He has done a great job here, in tricky conditions - no one is denying that. It's just that the Everton situation is likley to be a little trickier. I have no idea how you've got that out of what i posted.
  4. Don't like the idea of us giving our old player experience to play for Arsenal. Either loan with a perm option, a perm transfer...or no thanks.
  5. I know spending loads'a money can be seen as exciting, but they're all saying ''well, he rebuilt southampton - he can do that here''. He did and he didn't. He still had a spine of Fonte, Morgan, Wanyama to work with. Clyne, JWP etc etc. Good players that provided the foundations. Then you add the likes of Tadic, Mane, Forster around it and it goes well. At everton, he's not necessarily going to have that because 1) so many players are out of contract, 2) they're probably going to lose 1 or 2 for big money. That's pretty much a task of building a new team from complete scratch, it's a risk and it'll be interesting to see how it pans out - whoever they get in charge.
  6. That doesn't mean we should be throwing stupid money at people, just to keep them. I don't see that as a way to get sustained success, seems like a very quick way to get 'quick wins' in the short-term. If it happens, we will go again.
  7. And you'll be lapping it up. But there won't be any meltdown. We know what we're doing, if it happens then we'll get ourselves another well respected manager and go again. We're in a wonderful position if he stays or goes. No meltdown here.
  8. I think their 'Guan' or 'k,billy' equivalent has said it's done. (not sure on the history of the poster tbh). But the fact some of t heir fans are coming out with garbage like ''Underwhelmed'' ''Chance to make a statement. We failed'' Seriously, who the **** do they think they are? Get a little bit of money and they all get excited. They actually thought Simeone or Jose were realistic. Wake up toffee's.
  9. They are complete and utter deluded mongs.
  10. The everton fans are unbelievable. I honestly wasn't bothered about them before, didn't really notice them. Nice established PL club, but christ on a bike they're like their big brother. Totally deluded about everything, not just football.
  11. The everton fans are talking as if it's done, dusted, rubber stamped. Their main ITK guy has just said it's done.
  12. He looked like an absolute unit.
  13. Impossible to read anything into that really, awful game. Fonte played well though.
  14. If it was actually possible, we're worse in this 2nd half so far.
  15. At least the adverts are more interesting.
  16. Arsenal is a great fit for him. Don't see it being that big a jump for him to take, more than capable.
  17. Just looks so disjointed, everyone shoe-horned into unnatural positions. He's somehow making Vardy and Kane totally ineffective. The game breaks down when the ball gets anywhere near Rooney.
  18. No they couldn't. Everton are a sleeping giant, just like Villa, Leeds, Wednesd..oh
  19. There's a massive thread just above this all about that. Another good OP.
  20. Paco Jamez @ Rayo is very talented. Villas-Boas wasn't given a fair crack in this country, I like him. The former Chile manager whose name escapes me... Frank De Boer, Thomas Tuchel (unlikely though!)
  21. Given that he's just about to take over Bayern Munich, that's not going to happen. Not that it would anyway.
  22. Apparently (according to the also rans) their squad is already better than ours, they don't need to buy to improve it. That's why it's so exciting if he's given so much money, apparently. I'll ignore the likes of Joel Robels, Baines, Hibbert, Osman, Gibson, Naise, Kone, Jagielka, Barry, Oviedo then.
  23. Sky bet to get loads'a money.
  24. If you look at how Ronald has acted throughout his entire career, taking into account his playing days and his stints at the dutch clubs as manager - he's always true to his word, that's why he's admired and respected so much by his former clubs. He's an honorable person and as has been mentioned previously, the only way he's considering Everton is if we've signaled our intention to terminate his contract. Think about it from a career point of view. He's leaving a club he's propelled into Europe, he's got a chance to have a real crack in a European competition, and then next season or the following season the bigger jobs will become avaliable. If he goes to Everton, it will be a season of consolidation. Apart from Stones and Lukaku they don't have a great deal of quality, so he'd be pretty much resetting the last two years of his career and starting again - risking his dream of taking a big job in the future. I also don't think money would make a great deal of difference, he's not that sort of bloke. So the only way this could be remotely true is if we've signaled our intention to terminate his contract/sack him. None of this makes any sense otherwise.
  25. Christ, what have I started? Take A Break guys....
