Going by last season....end of July/first week of August for the Third qualifying round. If we get a Utd win in the FA Cup, then we'll go straight into the Groups in September.

That first half was a bit WTF, had some horrible feelings during that first 45! No idea how we managed to go in 1-0, but we did! 2nd half was a different story, we attacked them with pace and power - we over ran them, and that's what we can do. Not sure we we played so tepid in the first half, but the 2nd half was what we're about. I didn't expect those 2 results to go so well for us, so I'm chuffed to bits. I would imagine we'll get the Man Utd game played before the FA Cup final due to the permutations a potential win/loss will equal for the likes of ourselves and WHU - we will both want to plan for the new season. But third qualifier or automatic group stage - I didn't expect that!

Seems as if our direction this summer is to tie our main players down to long term contracts. There will still be a couple who go, in my opinion, but the future looks incredibly bright.

Another very big move from the club, shows the ambition is there. Big part of this team for years to come. Got a feeling a few more are on the way as well.

I doubt it was even a thought in his head last summer, going to Utd could cost him his place at the Euro's - if anything, he probably assumed it would cement it. Based on his first half showing at WHU, I'm not surprised. He was a shadow of the player we had here, like a poor clone of him. When Fellani and Carrick are regular's in front of you then you know it's time. I reckon he'll move in the summer.

There's still a fair few people getting confused about all this. It's this: 5th - automatic group entry into EL (long shot) 6th - EL - automatic group entry if Man Utd finish in a European spot and beat palace, otherwise 6th is a third qualifier position 7th - EL third qualifier only if Man Utd finish in European positions and win the FA Cup final. (So, exactly the same scenario as last season where we wanted an Arsenal win) Liverpool winning the EL makes no difference. We just need to win, see where it takes us. If it's 7th, root for Utd against Palace.
