He's part of the squad at a big club, automatic selection.

It was Bony and Gomis originally, the second fiddle to Bony became first choice. I really don't rate him.

Daily Echo Back To Running Negative Articles On The City's Football Club
S-Clarke replied to pluto's topic in The Muppet Show
An horrendous troll, he's not even good at it. -
They never really replaced Bony. They signed Eder in the summer who has had absolutely no impact what so ever and I wouldn't even call Ayew a striker - more of a Mane type. They're a good side though, just going through a bad patch. They probably need to spend a bit of £££ on a striker in January though, they need a focal point.

Shocked to hear this, it's no age at all. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP.

Yeah, that went well.

Well that wouldn't end well, at all. Christ, they moan about the lack of movement from Rooney. Pelle would be slaughtered by that lot after 60 mins and his career at the top would go the same way as Rickies. I think he's got more sense.

I don't really like the term world class, it's thrown around so easily. This is just my opinion, but players who I class as world class are those who have experienced success at all levels. Domestic, European, International World Cups/Euro's. Ronaldo, Messi, Ozil, Schewinstiger, Lahm, Fat Ronaldo, Ronaldinhio, Kaka, Rivaldo, Beckham, Muller, Henry, Viera, Nedved, Cannavaro, Pirlo - This is just off the top of my head and I've probably missed some obvious, but those players have the attributes of what i'd consider world class. De Bruyne, Zabaleta, Cech, Morgan, Willian, Lloris aren't there. They're in the group below in my opinion.

You weren't saying that though, were you? You were saying that he is a L1 keeper at best and there are many more keepers in the lower leagues who are a lot better than him. Which is actually a load of tripe. It's not just you, but people say crazy stuff like Forster is L1, Adkins isn't good enough, bla bla bla, Mane is non-league, and years on, months on...they still try to justify their moronic views. I don't get it, you were made to look incredibly silly with your views on Forster, so maybe it's time to gracefully back down.

If Bournemouth can't win when they play well, and they lose when they play badly, then they are already long gone. Can't see a way out, they are not good enough.

That whole loan moved screamed promotional, due to the fact that Ireland U21's were playing England U21's at St Mary's.

Cedric in the top 10 best tacklers in the PL (so far)
S-Clarke replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
I like how we've handled him. He clearly wasn't 100% to the level at the start of the season, so we've taken our time with him and slowly bedded him into the side. And we're reaping the rewards now as he's looking excellent positionally in both attacking and defensive sense. We're doing the same with Clasie which will also work wonders. -
Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Bournemouth
S-Clarke replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I think we lost control as the 2nd half went on, they just lacked the quality to punish our slackness - and trust me, a better side would have taken advantage of how often we were handing it back to them today. Luckily, they just don't have the ability right now. A lot of huff and puff, but we did bring alot of it on ourselves. -
Good reception for Drew today, no bad feelings for him. Glad he's finally getting a crack at the PL.
-
Well, he will be dropped for the next game..! He bossed that first half for what it's worth, and did decent covering for a good portion of the 2nd half too. He played well.
-
I think he's being given a role in the side to allow him to adapt to the league, slowly. He quite clearly went about what he was asked to do in that first half, did his jobs well (I think he's just being told to keep it simple). 2nd half, the entire team dropped off. He still covered decent ground, but lost his way as the half wore on.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Bournemouth
S-Clarke replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Whilst we were shocking in that 2nd half, I think you also have to look at how Bournemouth approached the game. They got it wrong in the first half, they played with Murray too isolated and they had no pace or guile to support him, so they sat deep and just invited us on time and time again. To our credit, we made the most of the space and produced some excellent deliveries for both goals. We had them for toast down their flanks on numerous occasions in that 1st half, and 2-0 was the least we deserved based on that showing. The 2nd half was a different game all together. The 2 subs bournemouth made changed the game, because straight away it joined their midfield and attack with pace and trickery (very similar to the 2 changes Leicester made against us). I think we were caught a little by surprise at their impact and their change of game plan, as we were so comfortable for the first 45 mins. So yes, whilst we were well below par in that 2nd half, Bournemouth at least made a game of it. Not sure what happened to Fonte? Assuming it was a precaution? That did unsettle us from the outset to be honest. -
He is such a bad loser it's painful to watch.
-
Maybe Eva Caniero was the actual manager all this time? Or she made the chelsea lads feel a lot younger than they actually are.
-
errr, how was that a penalty.
-
That is such a pointless table. I can categorically say that WHU will not get 80 points, and Chelsea will get a hell of a lot more than 40 points. I will pay £100 to a Charity if either one of those things happens. The thing with these stats is that they assume this is how the teams will perform all year, but it won't be like that.
-
Fair enough, but there's not much else we can do is there? As I said, it's the best possible lineup we could put out tonight, all things considered. Is Pelle invisible or something? He is starting by the way.
-
What's the problem with the team exactly? Mane is suspended, Bertrand, Clasie have just come back from long-term lay offs. Tadic over played last year, so makes sense to not start him tonight. Jay is injured and Soares has been in the wars the last few weeks......I don't see a problem, it's our best possible side with everything considered. Caulker and Yoshida need game time, if Virgil or Fonte get injured, one of them is thrown into the firing line.
