  1. Some of the buys Liverpool have made over the last 18 months have been horrific, totally horrific. Out of that list above, the only successes I would say are Sturridge and Coutinho. The rest - the jury is still out on a couple, but the majority have been shambolic additions, poorly scouted, poorly managed and in turn shipped out sharpish.
  2. A seemingly very impressive display, haven't been around much tonight, but caught the goals. Great to see Jay in this sort of form, he showed terrific pace on so many occasions. Also top work by Shane, he looked excellent tonight, always involved, could have had more goals. Winning any game 6-0, away, is mighty impressive - no matter who it is. MK Don's aren't an awful side, but we put them to the sword and were totally ruthless. Now, if we can take that ruthlessness into the league... See, personally, I didn't think we played too badly against Utd. In an attacking sense we caused them all sorts of problems, so I was never as worried as some were. We're a good side, plenty of options, lots of pace and moment up front. When it clicks, it's hard to contain for any team.
  3. Lol, that would be such a great conclusion to this thread. Leave at your peril!
  4. Unbelievable that they went through, just knew it would happen. They were trash.
  5. We started the game really well and should have had a couple. Not sure why people are calling Pelle's shot which hit the post a ''sitter'' because it quite certainly wasn't. Overall, for the first 30 mins, we dominated the game. Pelle in particular had Blind's card, and Mane was pulling Carrick all over the place through the middle. We should have grabbed the name by the scruff of the neck right there and then, but we paid for not doing that. Once Utd got a goal, they went up a gear, and we retreated back into our shells unfortunately. It wasn't really until 75-80mins that we woke up again and started to make Utd panic, as we did at the start of the game. It was frustrating that we couldn't get our heads back in the game before that period. The goals we let in were frustrating, especially the first 2 which came as a direct result of Yoshida's carelessness - the 2nd was inexcusable at any level, and you can't expect to get anything in games at this level if you do stupid things like that. Gift wrapped. Overall, it was a bit frustrating that we kind of lost the middle part of the game, as they really were there for the taking (as per last year). We looked a threat when we attacked though and I thought Pelle in particular had a terrific game. Long way to go, we're still a pretty handy side.
  6. Lol, are you like 10 or something?
  7. Sunderland are probably the most pointless side in premier league history, ever.
  8. It's not just the fact he's boring as **** either, he talks utter trash and contradicts himself most of the time. A few of his classics: “It’s a good run but it’s a poor run, if you know what I mean?” “To stay in the game, you have to stay in the game”. “That would’ve been a goal had it gone inside the post.” “You need people who score goals. That’s how you win games
  9. Definitely no option for that on the website, unless I'm totally blind, or it's hidden in a totally unusable place.
  10. It is a good point, it's never been made very clear as to how we do it. The only pre-req I can remember them stating is that the game has to be sold out first, which it is......but I can't find anything about selling the ticket back. Maybe it has to be done over the phone? Seems pretty odd though, how it was quite clearly part of the season ticket policy....yet we've never really been made aware of how we're supposed to utilize it.
  11. Crikey, I wouldn't wish that club on anyone right now.
  12. Not really, in this day and age once you have a connection back to the ISP either via PPoE or Cable, then you keep that IP. It'll only pull a new one if you reconnect at some point, which in theory you shouldn't do regularly unless there is a line or device problem. I had Virgin for years, I usually had the same IP for about a year until I did a hard reboot of the modem. I'm with Infinity now, and it's the same with this really, it just stays connected with the same IP for months on end. Batman - you don't mention what is dropping as such, are you seeing your WiFi connection disconnecting at all, or is the internet going down, but your wifi is staying online? You'll have an infinity modem as well as the home hub, so when you lose connection it's worth having a look at the infinity modem to see if the sync lights are still solid - then you can work out what is causing the problem. I can't give much info on the Home hub as I don't use it, I drill the infinity modem into my own router.
  13. I've always liked him as a player, he's quite a rare player in the English game - very technical and silky on the ball, someone the England team could do with on a regular basis - but seemingly not possible! I agree that his smoking habits and other habits aren't great, and I'm sure other players do it as well...but when he's having as many fitness problems as he is having, then you do have to look at his lifestyle as well.
  14. Don't think anyone is laughing to be honest, but Wilshire hasn't just had 1 particularly bad injury hit season. It's been for the last 5 years. He's only 23 and has missed 119 weeks of football - that is just insane. The worry is that it's always the same sort of injuries. Fractures, ligaments, ankles. He's just got a weak structure and the sad thing is that he'll probably never fulfill his career because of this. A few Arsenal fans I know have had enough now, they wished they'd have taken the offer they had from City in the summer.
  15. Probably 4th choice to be honest. He hasn't really shone in the games he has played for us, looked a little dodgy in terms of letting his man go - all the time. But he's not a bad 4th CB to have, not at all. From the first game, Virgil is on a different level.
  16. few media outlets reporting that he could be out for up to nine months. Nasty.
  17. Well, they looked quite toothless in the 2nd half I felt. They seem to be picking up a few knocks and niggles, not a bad time to face them all being said.
  18. Well, I'll have him back then. Cheers
  19. For some reason, this troll is allowed to continue on here.
  20. He's a horrible, horrible person. Can't you just ban him?
  21. It's horrendous, reminds me of the injuries Eduardo suffered for Arsenal. It was so clear, it was one of those horrible ''sick in the stomach' moments. Such a good player, was coming good this year, but this is a hammer blow for him. This is going to be 12 months +, I just can't see how it won't be based on the pictures. That was bad.
  22. He might as well just retire, to be honest.
  23. It truly was a great few years, I loved those seasons in the lower leagues. It was a laugh!
  24. Yeah, somehow I don't think that'll happen. Just a hunch.
  25. It's not like Pluto to be wrong. blimey.
