The competition is already opening up, get through tomorrow and I'll start to think about actually winning this thing.
-
And then given the fact that it's also a cold, wet, windy night up in Stoke.
-
Injured, again.
-
Something has gone tits up there, look at pre-season and the way they couldn't get the targets they wanted, their **** pre-season results and then the physio-gate. Lots has gone on there behind the scenes.
-
Chelsea look so broken. I've never seen Jose look so vulnerable before, he's seemingly a dead man walking. I can never in my life time remember a Mourinho team which surrenders most weeks as easily as this.
-
He has been diabolical tonight. Seriously, what an utter moron who simply followed the $$$$$. Career has gone down the pan. Another Wenger masterclass.
-
How I see it is just 2 posters, who were against his appointment at the start and were quite vocal throughout his campaign with us, just because they didn't like him and it wasn't the mega star manager they both wanted. However, they were proven so badly wrong that any chance now they have to potentially validate their opinions they jump on it.

What, like Boruc who passed one into his net the other week? Or Federici who did the same yesterday? No one is denying that we have had poor GK options for the 4 years we've been here, but let's not make out that we're so far behind options wise from the likes of Bournemouth or Villa.

I didn't feel we ever had control over that game tbh, even 2-0 in the first half was a tad flattering. The issue Leicester had was a lack of attacking threat in the first half, they were too isolated up front, but they changed that with their 2 subs in the 2nd half and that exploited our failings and changed the game. Ryan didn't look on his game at all, and Wanyama offered no protection for the majority of that game, he didn't play well at all. In essence, a draw is a good result as we could have so easily lost that game. They had the much better chances but thankfully didn't start with their attacking wide men as it could have been a different outcome if that was the case. Not entirely sure why we were so slow and lackadaisical, we just weren't on it at all to be honest. Oh well, let's do Liverpool next week.

Lol ffs. That entire city is so deluded. My facebook timeline is full of stupid Liverpool fans now thinking they're going to push City for the title (I'm a member of that Sportsmania group, so I get a lot of that waffle!). Such an entirely deluded fan-base detached from modern reality. But hang on, don't you remember they won the league a few times in the 80's???

People getting carried away again. Just as people got carried away in his few few weeks saying that he was ''non-league'' standard, people now saying he's one of the best players in the world is the opposite extreme to that. He's a very good player for us, very dangerous at this level. Let's stop it there.
-
He lost Suarez, but failed to replace him, they dipped off by a mile in the league, even though he had over £100m to spend in that single window. Koeman lost Lovren, Lallana, Lambert, Chambers, Shaw in a single window and improved on our position in the league. Go figure. The media love-in with Rodgers is cringe, he's shown himself to be nothing but a bog-average manager who likes to talk tactics and sound more revolutionary than he actually is.
-
Name the 'whoopsie's' he made in every game? Cheers.
-
Pelle has been outstanding for us all season so far. Really impressive.
-
We were better than Chelsea all over the pitch, won by a bigger margin, had more opportunities and were unlucky it wasn't more than 3. Today, easily.
-
He has seemingly lost his way, if you look throughout the season and the mess he has made of every single situation (The physio, john terry, matic, signings, games...). He has never looked as vulnerable as he does right now and he's not used to it, blurting out the referee line is pretty pathetic though. He's better than that.
-
His value is only going to go upwards. Not thinking about what may or may not happen to him in the future though, just enjoy him whilst he's here. (P.S - Where's toepunt these days?)

I thought we were terrific from the off, we looked well up for it. Their goal was unlucky if we're honest, not down to bad play from ourselves. We didn't let that get to us and we continued to slowly build ourselves into the game more and more, before we simply exploded in the 2nd half. That 2nd half display was as good as I've seen us away from home in a long, long time - especially away to a ''big one'' (as Koeman likes to call it!). For me, Pelle was MOTM. He was involved in all the goals and pulled their defenders around all came, he was just too strong for them and his touch and control of the football is sublime. What you saw tonight was a centre forward performance of the highest, highest level - that's the effect Falcao used to have on teams, but he's long gone now. Overall, I'm going to enjoy this weekend. It's not often you get a result away at Chelsea and you 100% deserve it, we were by far the better team in every area of the pitch and we were unlucky it wasn't more than 3. Terrific team performance, terrific tactics and a wonderful result.

Finishing 4th in the PL isn't going to mean a great deal in a few years.
-
Stick Mane on Ivanovic, put Pelle up against Cahill and we'll cause them problems. They have been pretty pants this year, but they still have so much quality who can turn it on in a second. But this is probably our best chance of going to the Bridge and getting a win for a long time. They have problems.
-
Yeah, how unlucky can Bournemouth get? Mings, Gradel and Wilson with long term injuries. 3 starters in that side, and 2 'transfer record' signings as well. To have a chance, they needed their big signings and big goal scorer to hit the ground running. The fact that they will now have all unavailable for a lengthy period is kind of the writing on the wall. I can't see how they have any chance.

He massively struggled yesterday, Davis in particular didn't leave him alone.
-
Well, that was a decent win. Performance wise...we've played better, oddly, but there's not really much to complain about. I thought we pressed well on occasions, but it wasn't the 'everyone press'' style that we've been accompanied with, which I think Koeman may have referred to as well - we left too much space in front of our back 4 on too many occasions, not sure how much warning we need of Shelvey's long-shots! Pelle was excellent I thought, a real target man performances. Bringing others into play, bullying the centre backs, just a general pain in the arse for Swansea to deal with. He was unlucky not to get a goal as well, but I must admit I'm quite enjoying Pelle this year, I think he's been excellent for us so far. There was a worry about the step up from Scottish football for VVD, but he looks pretty good to say the least. There are times when he can be a tad too casual, but that's easily coached out. His technique and attributes are terrific though, and he'll be a fantastic addition alongside Fonte. We may also have a consistent threat from set pieces...both in the box, and from outside! Overall, we put a good side away yesterday. I don't think Swansea played particularly bad, but we just had that little bit of extra nous in the final third to finish them off. On a final note, WTF was up with the ref? what an irritating moron. Absolutely no handle on the game what so ever.
