  1. Now we are hearing that United did send the documents on time but in a format that couldn't be opened at the LFP What the actual **** is going on. I'm sure this is all being made up to make tomorrow more exciting, as otherwise it'll be another boring day.
  2. I imagine Alpine_Siesta is having a bit of a meltdown right now.
  3. The documents did not arrive on time!!!!!! Presentation was ready. All agreed. But as it stands de Gea stays at MUFC!! For two of the biggest clubs in the world to **** that up is quite incredible.
  4. DE GEA...NO DEAL! Wow. It looks as though David de Gea will be staying atManchester United.
  5. Does it really matter if we sign him today or tomorrow though? We're getting him at some point over the next 24 hours, although I'd imagine he's been prepared to come here for a lot longer.
  6. Only Osvaldo, which was a Cortese status-kick thing.
  7. Seems like a good lad, just a shame he had no ability what so ever.
  8. It's pretty much as telling as a kbilly or Guan post. When Alpine rants about about something he hasn't got a clue about (which is most things, tbf), almost always the opposite happens hours later. Good times.
  9. Not a chance. They wouldn't loan him, and they'd want £20m+ outright to secure it.
  10. What's your view on Virgil by the way? How will he cope in the PL? From what I've seen he looks a very silky CB, but has a lot of time up there in the SPL to showcase his skills.
  11. He is apparently being included in the deal.
  12. Agreement reached between Utd and Madrid for De Gea - around £19-20m. So they've held out for a world record fee, only to accept less on the final day. They're getting Madrid's reserve keeper in exchange + a small fee. Whops.
  13. I think Van Gal has just heard Koeman's post-match interview.
  14. He has since posted zilch. what a weirdo.
  15. I would expect us to keep more or less the same side in the most. I can't see Clasie starting from the off, he'll probably come off the bench.
  16. Our VVD replacement in 2017 then.
  17. He looked good, was running that midfield for most of the afternoon. Excellent passer of the ball and added a bit of tenacity to his game. He'll get lots of harder games, but this is more like it - this is why people get a tad frustrated with him, as he has it in his locker, we don't see it often enough.
  18. I still don't think LVG really has an identity for that side. After all the money he's spent, they should be playing a hell of a lot better than they are.
  19. I think he's been terrific this season. Holds it up well, brings other's into play. He's massive cog in our system and how we attack teams. Take him out and it would look a lot different, that's why he played most weeks last season.
  20. He's an excellent player. has everything you would want in a DM. He can tackle, he's a presence on the field and he can pass....some of his switches were sublime. I like him a lot.
  21. You won't get it fella, people have tried for many a season, but he can never back up his views with hard cash. Subconsciously he probably knows he's an idiot.
  22. It's clear he's not going. He can sulk if he wants, but the club hold the cards. It's refreshing to see, players shouldn't be aloud to dictate things when they are under long-term contracts.
  23. That's more like it. We played with a tempo from the off and it kept Norwich on the back foot for the most of the game. We were much more accurate with our passing, much more composed in and out of possession. We picked up and closed space well defensively, and also utilized space well when attacking - on both sides. I felt we did this from the off, even before the sending off of their RB. This was the Tadic we all fell in love with at the start of last season, and I honestly prefer him on the left where he can naturally whip it in without having to cut in or switch feet. He may not be the quickest, but he has terrific technical ability and can tie most full backs up in knots on his day. It was great to see him back to that level. The midfield had control of the game for the majority of it. I was very impressed with James today, his use of the ball and reading of positions in that slightly deeper CM role was perfect. He was tenacious, and whilst he's not the strongest or biggest lad, he put himself about to the best he could. We all know he has terrific technical ability, so if he can tie that up by adding a bit of tenacity to his game then he really can go far. I was worried he was drifting into a bit of a no-mans role, not really knowing where he fits, but he put himself right back into the frame today. I've been impressed with Romeu from his first game. Very composed on the ball, uses it very well, shields well, picks up space well. He is pretty much everything you would want in a sitting defensive midfielder. It was critical we went into the international break with a win, it just makes the entire picture a little better and calms a lot of nerves. It'll be interesting to see how we setup when Clasie is back, but the future certainly does look rosey. It's amazing what a win does, although it will still take a fair bit to make up for our throw away in Europe! Now I guess the focus swings to Tuesday. I think we know what we want and what we're doing. Neither player will leave and we'll be getting VVD.
  24. I thought it was Stekelenburg's green top?
  25. Absolutely this. I frustrates me more than dumbfounds me, as it's always the usual suspects who attack the club for no reason at all.
