I think Mane is having a bit of a patch at the moment, he's been rubbish for weeks in his ball retention and use of it in key moments. Long deserved to keep his plcae as he has been terrific. But we could have really done with Mertersaker back there tonight, as they would have really played on that.

To be honest, if not in the summer, then the season after...I can see Lallana ended up at a Newcastle or Stoke level of club (or ourselves, but that won't happen...!). It's never happened for him there, hard to say why, but when you look at all the players who left us, they all look half the player. I think we really defined the word team, we had a group that just worked so well together and it's a shame they were all tempted by the $$$$ as they had something good together here, sod them saying the ambition had gone etc, they just wanted more dollar.

Koeman and Wenger post-match 'bust-up' in the tunnel
S-Clarke replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
True story though, it's always someone elses fault according to Wenger. It's the same old Arsenal, people were getting excited thinking this was their best chance etc etc, but the reality is that they're exactly the same as they have been for the last 6 seasons. They'll finish top 4, but they don't have the punch to finish at the top. Too weak through the central area physically and mentally. I think everyone can see what they need, I can only imagine how Arsenal fans must feel. -
Let's not forget Spurs either by the way, as much as some will hate it. Such a strong centre to that team.

I think Kelvin, because it was heroics - much clearer chances than Arsenal had tonight...and we won the game, that makes it the winner. Although both terrific displays.

Fair play Leicester.

He's ****ing massive, in both senses.

We're back to our defensive performances of the start of last season, they had some good chances...but the midfield provided a fantastic shield, and when we did have attempts against....Forster does what he does, I think he's a top level keeper to be honest. Never understood the doubt people had with him. £10m bargain really. Fonte and VVD put their bodies on the line, they were terrific. Romeu was terrific, Wanyama was terrific. But I will say that if we were a touch more clinical....we could have got something there, massive chances for us (not many chances...) but we had some clear ones we could have done better with. Overall though, we've totally turned this season around now.

I wonder how long Sky can keep flogging their Transfer Deadline day trash. It's all a little bit embarrassing.

I'd rather we won all 3, but that might just be me.

BREAKING NEWS Manchester City confirm Pep Guardiola will take over as manager in the summer.

Only in football can your value rise after you've failed.

Yeah, that's the one. They're lapping it up, but all I saw was pointless backwards passing which B'mouth were more than happy to accept. It was a lump forward that actually got them in. That goal against M'Boro was much more complete and actually can be described as probing, rather than just keeping the ball for keeping the ball sake.

Our goal v Boro a few years back was a hell of a lot better.

Newcastle have made a £21m bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino, according to Sky sources.
-
That's not going to be confusing what so ever.

What is with this place today? People asking who we'd prefer to win out of Saints or Pompey, and now this.
-
I think they paid him off back in the summer, he's been a free agent till now.
-
Bilic has done well this month, he's another option.

Palace are obviously desperate for a striker, it just makes you wonder why they didn't go for Austin. I can't imagine Adebayor will be cheap wage wise either, and he hasn't played for about 6 months? Sounds like a little bit of a desperate signing to me.
-
He had a really positive impact when he went to QPR a few seasons ago. He can make a difference, certainly an upgrade on Obertan - but it's just a little too expensive for me.
-
I'd be tempted to give it to Long, the first proper run he's had in our team and he has been crucial in our results over the last 4 weeks. Good to see him finally nail a spot.
-
But didn't we say the same thing for most of last season? ''He's not had a save to make, he's not been tested, we don't know how good he is'' Well, maybe we do.
