All this ''resting'' players ******** does confuse me sometimes. When we were in L1 or the NPC, we were mostly playing Saturday > Tuesday, Saturday > Tuesday. Did we rest players on the Saturday game, in preparation for the Tuesday game? Umm, No. Did it make any difference? Not really, No. In this day in age, with the facilities and the preparation, we will be able to recover with a week - yes a week - in between games. The same time as there is between league games by the way. There's no need to rotate or change anything. Start mucking around with squads and dropping results, out goes consistency, away goes the form, and you enter into the race for 8th place in the EPL. And that's the season. Where have I seen that before?

I truly do not know what some people expect to see from Fraser. We're Southampton, he is as good as we will get here, and he is very good. But a good point in the sense that we limited them so well, defended in numbers, with organisation and we were incredibly disciplined from front to back. That's why we have such a good defensive record, and Fonte is such a linchpin in underlining everything we do back there. But Chelsea were clearly at another level, probably 2 or 3 levels above us - but that's to be expected, but we got the draw which is another point on the board. We could do Arsenal though...

Been having a look myself. What is it with football fans and their inability to see past 2 or 3 quickfire results? They're being dragged into a relegation battle apparently, and they don't have the players in the trenches to avoid the drop if they get dragged in. I think the only link to us came from that fact that Koeman is dutch, and that they share the same agent. There was never anything more concrete than that! He's way out of our league if we're honest! He's a top international midfielder still at the prime years of his career.
