It seems that he's right when it's positive news, but wrong when it's a negative slant.

James is such an odd one, it's always the same. Terrific pre-seasons, looks immense, takes it into the start of the season and eventually drifts away.... He's a talent, there's no 2 ways about it - but he's got to find a way of putting that over an entire season, which he's struggled to so far.

There's quite an odd ''ITK'' sticky thread on the Spurs forums, which is populated by who they say are genuine ITK's and it is heavily moderated to remove rubbish. This appeared this morning:

Tadier has been on our list for about 18-24 months, one we have continued to track. And now an opportunity has arisen and we're taking it.

2 more signings for free though, club has got to be happy with that I guess it allows us to focus on spending the $$ on another striker and sorting out the CB and GK area's - that's where I feel Koeman wants to add real quality to. These signings just bolster the squad depth some more, which is something we didn't really have last year.

Cheap choice? FWIW I don't think Bertrand means anything with regards to any potential deal here, as Rojo is just a left sided CB for Sporting, he was actually out of position at the WC - but showed he can play there.

To be honest, we all know which camp has fed that don't we. It's so predictable that it's actually becoming boring. Club positive statement....a day or 2 later, another article writing all the issues. 3rd time so far this summer that they've gone hand in hand like that.

Funny you should mention Volland, there was a random tweet on him earlier about him being on his way to a Southern club, but was promptly deleted. Could mean anything though!
