Interesting suggestion re: Fellani, but not quite sure Man Utd would cut their losses just yet. It seemed they just deployed him wrong last year, I don't think he's a £30m player by any stretch - but he's better than he showed last year. He's pretty capable as a number 10.

Out of contract, Blackpool have said he's all but left them. Currently training with Inter with a view to earning a contract, that's gone quiet though, so not sure if that will occur.

They've got a collection of about 30 of the brightest young players in europe, 1 or 2 may start to get games there, but doubtful. Hate the way they search Europe signing the best young talent, not playing it, and farm it out to random leagues in Europe. A total waste of the talent pool.

Also, another name to throw out there - Chadli? Being let go as well, always quite rated him. Don't think he's done quite badly at Spurs? I think there are a few players we can poach from them, potentially. (At some point..!) I think they've got too many AMC style players as a start, and will start to trim it down.

It's incredibly spooky actually. Relegated together in the PL back in 05, relegated together to L1 in 09. How closely our futures have been over the last 10-15 years is unreal. I honestly thought we'd banish that one now, but going at this rate we will do well not to follow them! But Koeman looks a done deal to me, would bring stability and some leadership in a time when we are seriously lacking either. Hope we get it done ASAP so we can try and start a salvage operation! He's experienced enough to handle it, I reckon. I think Losing Shaw, Lallana, Lambert and MP - but keeping the rest and recruiting Koeman would be the best of a bad job....but it needs to happen quick!

I honestly don't believe we will get what we want for him, I cannot see a club paying it in the way we want it. (Bournemouth's clause causes a lot of issues) This will drag for a while and I truly hope it doesn't become even more unsavoury.
