  1. At least we're getting to the stage where we're running out of players we can worry about losing. Mayuka and Jos are here for ever. Got to be a positive?
  2. Clear the debts, remove the liabilities. Put the club up for sale with it's own stadium, own training ground - all paid for. If there is a positive to swing, that is an amazingly attractive proposition for any mega rich person to be offered. A PL football club with no debt and top class facilities. We need to stay in the PL though, enormous gamble what we're doing.
  3. We really won't.
  4. To be fair, they actually did say that. We have since sold Lallana, Lovren and Chambers.
  5. I can't see a great deal of support right now, judging by his time line, that's for sure.
  6. "After I played at Anfield last season, I said to myself: 'One day I hope I'll be able to play here for Liverpool'. The fans will know from the first minute that I'm a player that will give 100 per cent on the pitch." what a load of ****ing ****, why do players spout such bull**** just to apease? I bet the L'Pool fans will lap it up though, and then in 2 years time when he signs for R.Madrid, he'll say how he dreamed of playing for them too.
  7. I was just re-writing the Shaw statement for what it's worth. But we didn't even get a statement, just a 2 sentence job in the end.
  8. What a total shame it has come to this. Our best ever season has led to us hating the team who made it possible.
  9. Will be 5 tomorrow.
  10. That Liverpool transfer graphic is utterly horrific. Why do they continue with it? Makes them look like Accrington Stanley.
  11. ''This deal is a good one for Southampton Football Club, and hopefully sends a clear message to other clubs wishing to bid for our players.'' “Dejan's transfer fee will be reinvested into the team as our new manager, Ronald Koeman, builds for the new season and for years to come.” CEO Gareth Rogers commented: “Dejan's transfer to Liverpool is yet another endorsement of the great work undertaken at our club and by the staff at Southampton Football Club. “We can now move forward and continue to invest in the future of our club.”
  12. We were just lacking in depth. The key 11 that we had, injury free, is as good as anything we could ever put out - probably the best team we've had in my entire life. We dropped points because we lost the likes of Jay, Lovren, Wanyama, Boruc and co for periods of the season. If by some damn miracle, we managed to keep that 11 fit every single week, we'd have been up there with Everton. There was very little wrong with us last season apart from the lack of depth.
  13. It's ok though, we're calm and we do it on our terms. Or something.
  14. Probably continuing to spend her money, without her seeing anything back. She wants a bit of $$.
  15. We'll see what, exactly? Even if the world does end, you still haven't proven you know anything as you've said nothing.
  16. He knows nothing, thought that would be pretty obvious by now.
  17. LFC TV @LFCTV “We’ve got exclusive news coming up on Matchday Live. For more info tune in from 10 pm BST”
  18. Nope, nudge, nudge, wink, wink sentences don't actually say anything. Anyone could have said what you have said.
  19. 5 words, anyone could have said that. If you have something to share, share it. But if you don't want to share it, stop filling up threads with one sentence wind ups - as that's all they are, you're becoming a WUM. We can all see what's going on, no one is happy, but the last thing we need is someone poking their head up and shouting ''TOLD YOU SO'' - when you never actually did.
  20. He was still flashing around someone elses money, when it was never her intention to progress us any further. He shouldn't have claimed what he did to the players by using someone else's money. He wimped out of this, as he saw what was going to happen. He ends up looking like the messiah because of it. Clever.
  21. It would have been such a quick and easy win for the club to appoint John Williams, he was even interested and wanted the role. But looking back now, we wanted a mouth piece in that role. Someone who can spout **** and get paid for it, and just agree to whatever goes on. Why would you turn up the opportunity to appoint a very experienced and highly respected football chairman, and then appoint a hockey coach and motivational speaker instead, it simply doesn't make any logical sense - which is why it wasn't made as a footballing decision, more as a PR job. It's all becoming clear now.

  23. Running a mile, I'd have thought.
