Clyne probably, as per last season. As I've said, LB is not seen as a priority by the club at all. They are all very excited by Targett, and maybe we should all be as well! At least we'll get 6 months to a year out of him before Liverhampton sign him.
-
The thing I would say about those sides, is that they've kept their teams together - it's not always about who you sign, it's often about who you keep! And we've lost our entire spine, which doesn't exactly equate to a successful window in my books as it stands. Still, we will replace them and it could end up being a good window for us all - but at the moment, it's all a bit of a frustration.

Does sound a bit ''having to sell before we buy''. Hadn't noticed that before.
-
Top heavy though, and without their main man. I still think they're shopping for sloppy seconds, when you look at who Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd have got this year. They've signed lots of players which won't really make much difference, and sold their leading world class player.

People do seem to ignore this point. The budget is the entire package. Wage, signing on fee's, bonuses, agent fee's - it's all part of the transfer budget, it's not as simple as saying I'll cost £30m and that's that. There's a very simplistic view to transfers on this forum I've noticed over the years, probably bread from the Football Manager game. And then bear in mind that Lambert, Lallana and Shaw's deals will not have been in full - so talk of £60m to spend isn't true, we may only currently have £25m to our name and waiting for the rest in clauses and instalments - so our deals will need to be structured in similar ways

Telling the players we could aim for the champions league, I expect. -

NC is to blame for this mass unrest as much as anyone else. Selling people pipe dreams and promises, which were all based on spending someone elses money. He ran as soon as he had a sniff that the family wouldn't sanction his false promises. -
I'd say 2 CB's are pretty high on my list tbh. Vlarr isn't young and has picked up a few injuries in the last few years, don't think he's completed a full season for Villa. We cannot go into another season of PL football with Jos 1 injury away from the squad, nice guy he may be, but he is a joke player at this level.

Yes, he was interviewed for ESPN I believe. Surprised it was so honest.
-
We won't. They'll be miles and miles ahead of us it pains me to say.

Top 5 I'd say, 70+ points.

I doubt he really gives a ****, as it's only pre-season and it means nothing.

Sky Sources: New 5 Year Contract offered to Jay Rodriguez

I must say though, all of this crap from a certain NC saying that 'the club is built on solid foundations so that it will prosper even without me' 'If the family do not support the plans, I have investors lined up', seems to be a load of waffle. If the players dreams are dashed by a chairman leaving, then his tenure was built on nothing but quicksand. -

Yeah, was rumoured that our friend Nixon would pen an article tonight. he has close connections with his family up in Burnley so you'd imagine it's very close to the truth. The fact the news of us offering him a 5 year deal became so public was a sign of the club trying to put the ball in Jay's court, but seemingly he's not going to commit to anything right now. -
First direct comments from Koeman that Vlarr is/could be a target. "Ron would definitely be an option," Koeman confirmed when asked about the Villa defender, "although I think he won't be cheap right now. Well, let's just wait and see."

Epic fail.

Saint Robbie has always been somewhat of an emotional wreck on here.

Doesn't seem as Spurs are that bothered about new signings this summer. Don't think they have any money tbh. When asked about incomings to White Hart Lane, he said: "Not many. We have a very good and big squad. Last summer the club made a big effort during the window and I believe in these players. We are always looking to improve but we don't expect big change." Speaking ahead of Spurs' first pre-season game against Seattle on Saturday night, the former Southampton boss said his initial task is to establish a playing philosophy at the club. "It's a different club to Southampton. Tottenham is a bigger club and we need to win, but not only win, we need to create a good philosophy. Our philosophy is exciting football, pressing attacking football. "This is our target for the moment. During the season the targets will come."

Andy Robinson has left Bolton are failing to settle. One academy graduates career which isn't gong too well!
-
Wasn't Redknapp sacked? The only key player I can remember them losing was Modric for £35m, their other transfers were just squad players going. The fact is that's what happening to us is unprecedented in top flight football, we just need some signings of high quality - that's the only way to salvage this situation now.

I must admit, it's a bit frustrating that we're not in there for this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2697756/Romelu-Lukaku-rejoin-Everton-permanent-deal-48-hours.html
