  1. What a result that was, a perfect away performance. The 2nd half was more promising against West Ham, and I felt we carried that into this game. We moved the ball around with more zip in the final third, although it didn't always come off, we weren't as pedestrian as we have been and we caused Liverpool's back 4 all sorts of problems. We also saw a return to that ''high'' pressing game, which MP has been so famed for. It was a great tactic to use in a game like this as Liverpool were disjointed, they didn't have a natrual back 4 so if we put them under pressure we were always going to force errors, which we did. I felt we kept Liverpool at an arms length most of the game, the biggest openings they had (other than the free kick) were probably the 2 breakaways in the opening 5 mins, other than that we were really, really comfortable and weren't really affected by their movement or pace. I thought Clyne was unplayable at right back, he will play for England sooner rather than later. But for me, MOTM has to go to Lovren. I think he has the potential to have as big an impact on us as of Killer back in 2004. He's big, powerful, quick, a likable character and a leader on the pitch - all the attributes you want in a CB. For whatever reason it didn't work at Lyon, but I truly believe we have one of Europe's best centre backs at our disposal now and you can see the upgrade on the entire back 4. Just his presence has turned us into this amazing defensive unit. An astute buy if there ever was one. Also a note for Osvaldo, who I thought played his role brilliantly. Some of his touches are genius and once everyone starts to read those regularly, he will get some amazing assists. I think he oozes class on the ball A nice leap up the table as well and we're looking upwards with 2 decent home games coming up - let's see if we can build on this and turn this into one of our best ever starts to the season.
  2. Well, that won't happen to be fair! One thing you can guarantee is we'll play central and try to play through them.
  3. Think they've cottoned on, got some duff back where they refused to unlock me. Unfortunately, access to the website http://www.aljazeerasport.tv is restricted in some countries; the premium service is only available in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) due to broadcast rights. However, you can still watch Al Jazeera Sport Global and Al Jazeera Sport News in case you are located outside the above-mentioned geographical region.
  4. Yeah, this ship has pretty much sailed to be honest. We keep finding little glimmers out there with other services, but it's not going to last for long. Would recommend everyone cancelled their overplay and Aljezera subs, they will stop any of these DNS spoofing sites working eventually, and I can't be arsed to pay what I'm paying to have such an utter ball ache every Saturday. Will just go back to free stream hunting.
  5. Great, I'm getting the infamous ''Your login attemps have exceeded'' message, even though they haven't. What website in their right mind creates an '' account lock-out'' system, that requires us to contact them to unlock it? Utter stupid idea. It doesn't seem to take into account a browser crash, or an internet connection drop. If the user log in 3 times within 3mins, you lock out. Whoever thought up that idea is an utter genius....not. I'm stuffed for today then!
  6. I just got that, refreshed the stream and it now works ok again. Just a stream glitch I think.
  7. Yep, this ship has sailed. Did work again via overplay for me earlier this week, but has now gone again. Hola simply won't work for me, so they're in the process of blocking it all by the looks of it. This was great whilst it lasted.
  8. What gives me slight encouragement is how toothless Liverpool actually looked without Coutinho on Monday in the 2nd half. He's a vital cog in their side now, they looked very static without him and the front players got less service. It'll still be a very tough game though, one of our hardest of the season. Anything is a bonus.
  9. 2-2
  10. Looks like a nasty shoulder injury for Couthino. He's gone off.
  11. This is a proper premier league game. Beats the dross offered by the rest of the weekend
  12. I hate watching Coutinho, as you realise we could have had him and he's exactly what we need.
  13. First half, absolutely. Thought it was the same old, same old slow predictable dross. But 2nd half it was much better. Morgan got forward more, Wanyama was better in possession. No idea why they didn't play like that 1st half though.
  14. On another day we'd have got a couple, it's just not happening in front of goal for us at the moment. The 2nd half was more like it though, much more zippy with the ball in and around the final third. It frustrates me so much to see us play with such slowness as we did in the 1st half, that's not a lack of pace....it's just a lack of thought, they looked half a sleep for 45mins.
  15. Same reason he was omitted last week, JWP picked ahead of him for the CM position on the bench.
  16. I agree, they won't pick him. He's Polish.
  17. Great post.
  18. The 2nd half was more like it, quicker out of the blocks and we started picking up pockets of space and caused them all sorts of problems. On another day that header misses the post and goes in, and on another day the goal bound shot doesn't get cleared off the line. The 1st half was utter dross though, would struggle to agree with anyone who thought otherwise! But WHU came to kill the game and potentially nick a scrap if they could, that was their game plan. They are utter, utter, utter dross, but what they do works. To be honest, it was a game of 2 mid-table nothing teams. Not pretty viewing what so ever on the whole.
  19. Nope. Shaw is a defender, who can attack. Whereas Bale was an attacker who tried to defend. I don't think Bale was ever a natural defender, he didn't show any natural instincts at left back. Switching him to attack brought out all the qualities in his game though. I see lots of defensive instincts in Shaw, he reads the game well, positions him self well and knows when to attack and sit. Much more of a defender than Bale.
  20. Probably their worst ever signing. What a disaster he has been. And I remember quite a few on here being very envious at them for signing him! He lived on 6 months at fulham, which prior to that he was complete dross. He has returned to complete dross.
  21. Yep, same machine. The problem is I've asked them to reset it, but they say they cannot find my account. Even though I can log in to it if Hola isn't running. Probably my ISP has cottoned onto it.
  22. Not had any luck what so ever today. Overplay is not working, and I doubt it ever will again for this site - sounds like they've cottoned on. Also Hola simply won't work for me. Installed, set it to Egypt, go to login to the aljazera site - ''You have exceeded your login attempts''. Brilliant. So I contact the site, only to be told I don't have an account with them. If I turn off Hola and I'm seen as UK, it let's me login ok but obviously all streams are geo blocked. Me thinks the ISP's have cottoned onto it. It was good whilst it lasted. Now back to look for crappy streams!
  23. Way too young to know about football!
  24. Yep, probably. Sturridge, Wellbeck, Rooney all back for the next set of fixtures. Add to that Defoe will be involved as well. Nice 3 caps for him though and a couple of goals, but he's probably had his chance now.
  25. Ukraine themselves are a pretty crap side. yet they look in a different league to us. Very worrying. Worst england side in my lifetime.
