  1. Anything that's ever posted on that site is BS....and anyone can edit wiki.
  2. Probably Messi.
  3. lol ffs, bored lot this afternoon..
  4. What's that based on? Even if it got refused initially, it's almost guaranteed to be won on appeal
  5. Yellow and Blue shorts I'd guess.
  6. But then, if so many people are betting that he's going to join us, then you'd say that a fair % of those people have knowledge in the transfer activity.
  7. Great effort Bradford. This will dent Villa even more, their season goes from bad to worse. They don't even look close to improving either.
  8. Lambert out, Adkins in is my bet.
  9. Newcastle are making some shrewd additions. Bordeaux forward Yoan Gouffran says he is set to complete move to Newcastle, while club announce signing of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa
  10. Butters has it good doesn't he! Still bemused we extended his contract.
  11. I thought he was pretty decent to be honest. Had his best time in England with us by a long way, technically very talented but did look a little awkward at times. Obviously his stand out game was Derby, but he did have a fair few other good games that season as well. Did a job for us in our ''staying up'' season too, but was on too much money to be kept on any longer than that.
  12. This was always going to happen. But what I found a bit weird was the fact that all media were asked not to interview fans prior to the game. Cortese obviously scared of getting a complete mauling live on TV.
  13. He looked quite miffed at FT. MP's days are numbered.
  14. I think you're letting your heart win over there Crabs. There really wasn't anything different today than how we played under Adkins.
  15. The season before I believe.
  16. Ronaldo is pretty handy, so I've heard.
  17. lol @ us trying to beat l'pool again. They love us. V good player FWIW.
  18. Best pundit on TV by an absolute mile. Sky got lucky with the Keys and Gray scandal.
  19. It's too early to say anything. It wouldn't have really been down to him if we won, or lost tonight. He's had no time to implement anything really. We played the same tonight as we played under NA many a time. Will be interesting to see what a tweaks in the coming weeks though, I don't think there's a great deal wrong with us.
  20. He was painted into this horrific GK on here, when in reality he did nothing wrong. He upset a few fans in the Chapel and all hell broke lose, and all of a sudden he's the worst GK in history. The fact was, and still is, that he's our best GK by a mile and given a run in the team, he was always going to demonstrate his qualities.
  21. Would imagine that the Verdu link is the standard.....Manager chases player from previous club...
  22. 3 stand out. Yoshida, Morgan and Lambert. I'll give it to Yoshida as he's had a tough introduction to life here, but has grown with the team and has become a very consistent performer.
  23. A game of 2 halves if there ever was one! We looked vibrant and positive in the first half, and in all honestly should have been at least a goal up. Tim Howard pulled off a great save to keep that at 0-0. You just knew Everton weren't going to come out and be as bad in the 2nd half, and they didn't. They had more about them and pushed us higher up the pitch, limiting our ability to play between the lines as we were doing so well in the first half. Ramirez become isolated and we become dependent on the long ball and hold up of Rickie Lambert, who was excellent tonight I felt. The 1st half was spot on though, and it's exactly how we needed to play against Everton. Purpose and pace throughout the final third, and getting Ramirez in the hole - he will make things happen, as he showed. Everton are a good side though, with experienced professional players and they turned the screw in the 2nd half. If Jelavic was on form, he'd have scored that for sure. Overall, I think both sides will come out and say that a point is a fair result considering everything that's happened. Keeps our unbeaten run going, and extends our gap between the bottom 3. It'll be interesting to see what Mauricio implements and changes over the coming weeks.
