  1. Unfortunately mate Grandad had digested so much fear and propaganda he's practically drunk on it.
  2. Our away form is shocking. Will this be 16 defeats out of last 20? Ralph's time is up.
  3. Great post Richard, Israel's 3 doses don't seem to be effective do they. The world has gone completely mad, we don't want the NHS to be overwhelmed (like it has been every winter for 20+ years) so let's give it an impossible target to jab millions of healthy people whilst pausing treatment of ill people who now won't get to see GP / have the hip op they were waiting for. Bonkers.
  4. Hahaha you wanted the government to lock you in your house whilst the rest of us wanted to get out and enjoy our freedom, but good try with the "you're the scared ones"

The measures are nonsense as well, I remember last year Ralph blaming not being able to use recovery facilities on our injuries , as if stopping the massage on 15 mins prevents covid ffs.
  6. Palace just looked like a more settled / balanced side than we do, considering they had a new manager and several new players to settle in they've done well really, Vieira looks to be enjoying it. Gallagher is an excellent player, we'll struggle to handle him.
  7. Fair play to them beating the skates always good to do that. Sounds like a close game, would be better to avoid Chelsea, Man City etc next round, the gulf between the elite and our league is huge.
  8. Do we count flu deaths as anyone who had flu within 28 days of dying?
  9. That was nearly 22 years ago, not much has changed every Jan and Feb since.
  10. Didn't we also sign Perry Groves to supply the chances for those two?
  11. I've not checked myself but think they said on the radio we've now lost 15 out of the last 19 league away games , that's terrible and doesn't give much confidence for this. I'm sure in the early days of Ralph we were better away than at home.
  12. Give Peter Crouch a shout I reckon , reminds me of the days running a 6 a side team and having to text round on the day of the game as players drop out, "if your Dad's not up to much see if he fancies a game as well mate"
  13. I don't think I've seen anyone say we're definitely going down? My opinion is we'll definitely be in amongst the relegation battle , basing that on form over the last year (did they say we've LOST 15 of the last 19 league away game) plus we just don't look like scoring many goals, certainly not enough to win games. Only Norwich have scored fewer goals than us, and 2 of them were against us!
  14. And S. ARMSTRONG featuring. I just can't see where the goals will come from, best bet is to keep it tight, ride our luck and try to nick a 1-0 like our other wins this season. Palace play today, will be interesting to see how they set up . Big game Saturday v Brentford as well.
  15. I loved those days to be fair, relegation battles but The Dell would be great for those, we were terrible away most of the time probably why away support was so small in that era. Over two years since we last won without S. ARMSTRONG, crazy stat but we badly need him fit for Christmas period
  16. 15 away defeats this calendar year still with time to add another at West Ham, think they said our worst for 17 years.
  17. To be fair the geezer has come out of retirement for a run about, not played for ages what were you expecting?
  18. To be fair Adams and Armstrong would be a decent Championship forward line. Injuries not helping but time for Ralph to go I think.
  19. Same bloke reckons Smith-Rowe will be available which is worse I think
  20. Is he? Doesn't mention Aubameyang on here. https://www.arsenal.com/news/team-news-martinelli-smith-rowe-leno
  21. We'd have a replay at St Mary's first
  22. You've got no idea if I've had the vaccine or not so stop worrying about anyone saving my arse. At any point in this whole sorry saga have the govt made any attempt to persuade people perhaps their unhealthy lifestyle isn't doing them any favours when it comes to defeating any illness let alone covid. Old age and obesity and two key factors for those ending up in hospital. Vaccine passports are not the answer.
  23. Sounds similar to myself, I can't agree with Whelk completely though, "absolutely nothing sinister" ... really? Even the origins of the virus are fucking sinister, the Chinese cover up, the Wuhan lab, the early footage of people just collapsing in the street which now look ridiculous. The lack of proper opposition in parliament or in the media to actually question some of the frankly bizarre decisions. It's like living in the soviet union at times.
  24. Talk for yourself and your demographic, I know very few who queued up for it other than to go on holiday and ensure they had access to things after threats from the govt. Your patronising tone does make me chuckle, "as I've explained to you already" , vaccine passports are not needed or warranted. A few brave MPs are prepared to stand against them but unfortunately will not be enough. The photo highlights the ridiculous nature of such a thing. You don't think Boris and his chums have had their noses in the troughs last 18 months? Haha wow, check out some of the contracts being dished out, there has been a huge transfer of wealth away from small enterprises into global Amazons etc.
