Seems to happen regularly at the moment, something not quite right, whatever caused it they had help very quickly from stewards / paramedics. Hope the person carried out is ok.

To be honest I don't think most people care what you get up to in the bedroom or what your skin colour is, for those 90 mins if you're in the ground supporting the team then you're just the same as everyone else, that's the only criteria, nothing else really matters, it's not compulsory to attend games with other people of the same sexual preferences.

We've not won a league game without Stuart Armstrong for two years. Stuart Armstrong is injured for this game. Not sure if Leicester will rotate much, they don't play again until Sunday afternoon, Tielemans out is good news. Hopefully Bertrand is given a decent reception if he plays, guarantee him and Vestergaard will put in man of the match performances if picked.
-
The fact is only Norwich have scored fewer goals than us so far this season, we need far too many chances per goal and will mean we're dependent on clean sheets to win a match.
-
They certainly know how to moan about decisions, reminded me today we have only won 1-0 in the league this season, we won't be keeping a clean sheet against this lot , no 3 points coming our way.
-
Yes that was it, we haven't won a league game that Stuart Armstrong hasn't featured in for nearly two years, bit of a mad stat, we need him back.
-
Did they say on the radio Saints haven't won a league game without him since 2019?
-
4 points from this and Brighton would be brilliant, I'm expecting 2 draws.
-
We don't have a great record against them and Brendan Rogers, semi final last year still a big disappointment, I'll go for 1-1. Leicester seem to be playing two games a week at the moment with Europa league / Carabao Cup as well, hopefully they have a tough game and pick up a few knocks today against Watford.
-
Not sure what was more disappointing, the result or watching Ralph smiling enjoying his cuddle with Klopp at the end and Nathan Redmond having a good laugh with Van Dijk at final whistle.
-
Problem is we seem to need about 8 chances per goal so going to need to be a lot sharper in front of goal to get 3. I'll go with our usual 1 goal to Liverpools 3.

Why do Saints not have an independent supporters trust?
JRM replied to EssEffCee's topic in The Saints
Lowe reading out the anonymous letter clearly written by himself was absolute comedy genius to be fair, very funny moment. This was my favourite Chorley moment going back to the Dell days -
I agree with that, feels like S. Armstrong has been injured or missing for whatever reason every time post international break, its odd. I was baffled when he went on international duty in October having been out for two months. We need to summon the spirit of Claude Puel, the magician who kept 4 clean sheets against Jurgen Klopps Liverpool side in the 2016/17 season.

Great times that was mate, still up there as one of my favourite ever away days. When you look at the side we had out it still amazes me that we managed to win at Anfield 1Forster 2Cédric Soares 24Stephens 3Yoshida 21Bertrand 16Ward-ProwseSubstituted forHøjbjergat 59'minutes 14Romeu 8Davis 22RedmondSubstituted forSimsat 81'minutes 9RodriguezSubstituted forLongat 45'minutes 11Tadic

Do you think the players struggled playing in front of a big crowd? Occasion got to them a bit? How were the free burgers?
-
Liverpool 3-0 Saints. Mane, Salah x2 Inc soft penalty.
-
Had a feeling we would struggle in this one and did question some of the complacency on here pre match. Familiar tale of good first half followed by poor 2nd. Missed chances. Points lost from a winning position. Poor goalkeeping.

Im not saying its a bad place, but nothing special. Beach is shit, not even sandy. Beautiful countryside? It's the same as here, once you leave the city we've got the New Forest and South downs. I've got family who live in Brighton, they avoid town in summer, half of Croydon turn up on their days out. Plenty of rough areas and drug problems in Brighton as well. Green party MP explains a lot about the people that live there think they're being "alternative"
-
It doesn't really.
-
Half of Man City's squad have a place in London, the location of our training ground is not going to be a problem for these millionaires.
-
Think I'll hold off on rating us to win comfortably until we know how many players we could be missing. Are Saints back at the training ground yet or still working from home? JWP, Redmond, Livramento, Broja could be doubts?
-
I'm sure the full story will come out one day https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/aug/25/southampton-say-no-alternative-but-to-ditch-shirt-sponsor-ld-sports

That's the number I recall, not sure if we ever got a penny, well and truly done on that one. Would love to see the checks Saints carried out on LD Sports or did Gao just tell the board to sign the deal. https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/southampton-agree-record-shirt-sponsorship-deal-with-ld-sports_sto7269631/story.shtml

Seems strange, can't find any details, bit odd with the whole Saints squad being told to work from home this week as well? Only players who have actually featured so far in internationals, Djenepo for Mali Armstrong/ Adams for Scotland Smallbone for Ireland u21s JWP (illness), Livramento (injury) Broja (injury?) and Bednarek absent.

Mexican waves and the crowd cheering if a paper aeroplane lands on the pitch reminds me why I don't bother with international games.
