all good shouts Claba Chala FFS might as well not bother with work permits with that going on
-
what was Ali Dia's nationality? help yourself to a few, particularly african countries although not sure which ones had french passports http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_foreign_Premier_League_players
-
hardly an exception, the football league has some utter rubbish non-EU players that have made it in
-
Agreed, Palace away support at either st marys or the Dell has always been as dull as dishwater, i even went in the palace end at west ham in 2003 and they all sat, few renditions of Eagles Eagles, that was about it for a london derby.
-
No it won't we are home to Burnley that day, the FA put a rough date on the website but the games will be arranged for midweek either side of that weekend,
-
in general i'd put that down to playing the same teams at the same grounds year in year out and more often than not losing, lost count of the number of times i went to places like Goodison and witnessing a defeat, our away support was very dull in those days as well Away numbers used to come out for the relegation run ins, ignoring the Delhurst Park Wimbledon game i remember good turn outs at Bolton in 96, Forest as well for the Micky Evans game.
-
will be interesting if Middlesbrough away is a promotion decider, would be good to take 5000 up there rather than the usual 400 we used to take in the Prem
-
I'd say that's pretty much spot on Orange, i find our support incredibly frustrating, we have shown at times we can be good, but more often than not it is cringeworthy songs, this is how we should be all the time
-
yes last 16, Forest play Wigan on the 19th so we'll find out a date then, will be midweek in mid-Feb, i'll definitely go along if in southampton, get as many as possible there to get behind the kids. Up The Saints (Youth) !!!
-
If we get through we are home to Forest or Wigan in 5th round http://www.thefa.com/Competitions/FACompetitions/TheFAYouthCup/Fixtures

Hot Dog Sausage ROll Come on LEE Score a Goal

but that wasn't the question, FFS you get one chance to put Matt Le God right on something you've got to take it
-
it is not the football authorities that give out work permits, HTH

champions??????? if we don't want him then that is hardly going to help the selling position, a real mess, sooner he goes the better.

yeah but they were also giving it the big one "going down going down" and all that, but any team would do the same i guess. what does IIRC mean?
-
Everyone stood last time, wasn't a particularly enjoyable day being relegated and losing 3-1, we only have 2,018 fans there that day so will be good to go back taking more. Unfortunately i think we'll lose.
-
The one place they have got advantages is they have excellent contacts with a number of regional papers, the echo might not have good links with saints at the moment but other papers do with their local clubs so the echo can find out through other means. I think Manji gives this website too much credit if he thinks this is the source of their stories

i think the general jist of the point is the club is a centre point of the community, so would fit with marking an event that is linked to the identity of southampton as a place. Obviously the main events are going to be the ones posted earlier on this thread being organised by the council, i notice the venues in Oxford St are holding a day of special menus and dress on 7th April which is an interesting choice with Skates at home that day they must be banking on non-football folk for trade.

Excellent news, so that is the first 2,020 tickets sold, but it always amazes me why the ticket office wait for all of them to sell before getting some more, surely when they get down to a couple of hundred left they should get on the phone to Forest. Also - make it clear to fans once more tickets have been requested and how many more, plus make it clear it is pay on the day if there are loads left - we should get the info out there so encourage the best turnout possible, sound like we'll have 2500 ish which is good.

Does anyone know if the commentary for this will be on saints player? would like to follow it, and anyone going tonight to report back. was hoping we'd get a London team away so i could pop along after work, Arsenal would have been good especially if played at the Emirates.
-
must admit i would be very surprised if that is the case, having had a lot of away games just after Christmas, but good if true. 2.5k would be an excellent turn out.
-
It is all quite depressing though isn't it, seeing the list of "great" players we have produced means nothing to me, Bale, Walcott, Chamberlain, all jolly good for Arsenal and Spurs but if us as saints fans don't get to see them doing the biz for saints then it means nothing. Guess the money all helps if we spend wisely, if we did get most of the chamberlain money £12M up front that should be used as a fund to try and gain promotion.

Vulgar language like that has no place on a family forum like this, hang your head in shame. Your weird ramblings have ruined a thread that was going just fine debating the size of winslets fun bags
