  1. you can get all sorts there, i've seen Quadrophenia.
  2. my initial thoughts are that is a small allocation and i hope we can double that when we go there in Feb, would take 3400 easily
  3. That is clearly a hate crime against fat people. Anyone doing that and I'll be dialling 999
  4. is calling a player a wotsit a hate crime towards ginger people?
  5. what about other songs that pick up on geographical stereotypes? waving money at the scousers? you dirty northern b*stards?
  6. On a serious note, it was hampshire police who made arrests at Skates v Spurs a few years ago for the songs directed at Sol Campbell, most of the spurs end were singing it, but they filmed a few , grabbed a few out and had them up in court, a few of them got a FINE and a BANNING ORDER, show's what a f*cked up game this is now where the police have far too much power, there are pop songs that have more offensive lyrics that that!! and how can "we can see you holding hands" be considered "hate based" it is only offensive if Brighton fans deem their town being associated with homosexuals as a negative thing. bunch of morons the lot of them. hope we smash them 5-0
  7. how about an online Q&A where questions can be submitted and responses published?
  8. the whole thing is a sorry state of affairs, and shows this country is failing on many levels when so many of our "own" cannot manage to get a job (or try) and yet others turn up and manage it. Does make you wonder. big immigration of low skilled labour has been great for businesses as allowed them to keep wages low, if they hadn't been able to filll those positions they would have had to either not fill the job or raise the wage offered to make it more attractive to applicants.
  9. how come have they banned Dyanamo Dresden fans? St Pauli are a funny outfit, we went there in 2005 and saw the play Munster on a Tuesday night, cracking old terraces with fences, but when in Hamburg in 2010 and it looked like the ground had changed completely, new stands and a lack of character. Still a good drink up on the Reeperbahn though. Holstein in regional league could be a laugh, doubt it'll cost you anything to get in either! i gave that Chernobyl trip a swerve as knew i wouldn't be capable of getting on a coach, went and had a look around Kiev instead.
  10. you get the feeling he is a photographer or has in someway lost out himself to the the echo publishing his snaps, clearly very passionate about it, or maybe he has shares in data-co. either way, if that is the case there are almost certainly other means of resolution, i would say there is more to it going back to the previous ban.
  11. exactly. if he wanted to offer the fans something to "celebrate" he could have done. but he didn't. fact.
  12. i am dissappointed so many fans on this forum can do nothing but lap up the spin and resort to being abusive to anyone who questions it.
  13. Yes of course it is true, cortese called up Plymouth and said I want you to hand out free beers in the away end, if you believe that you'll believe anything.
  14. ok - were you with him at plymouth? what is this training ground where cortese recognises him from?
  15. the "wanting to buy every one a beer at plymouth reminds me of the other bullshlt story about him cleaning up the team coach when they got back from plymouth with the driver, load of nonsense.
  16. who is hooverfield? having read it again the whole things lacks so much substance it is laughable.
  17. and what does he mean do not get caught if you use someone elses season ticket? you are allowed to, that is why you can upgrade a childs season ticket to an adult, for that very reason, someone else is using it. i struggle to see the purpose of him divulging bits of information to half wit fans who are too excited about cortese recognising him from a training ground in Plymouth to contructively summarise what he actually means,
  18. i think your mate is plssed. buy every one a beer at Plymouth? he could have offered us all a away ticket with no booking fee, that would have been better. if he has handed plans to the council they would almost certainly become public, either through leaking or consultation they would do with the local area looking at impact of higher ground, why drop that into discussion rather than officially declare clubs plan to increase stadium. what is this training ground in Plymouth that cortese recognised him from? strange. all in all the summary sums up how the hearsay reporting back from these dinners is more or less pointless. how does cortese know Poyet was "bitter and jealous" ? he doesn't know anymore than we do about that and what Poyet thinks
  19. are you going to recommend that hostel in kiev Kev? with the mad owner and his slave called Max who would take your shoes off you at the door!! we stayed in a cracking old school soviet hotel in Dnepropetrovsk for that game, had a taxi driver who claimed to be best mates with Alexei Cherednik! all this talk is giving me itchy feet, quite fancy doing a game on foreign soil. Gemmel - if you want more specific advice on Poland and Ukraine drop us a line, done football in Krakow, Poznan and been to Warsaw and Kiev
  20. what else would you be happy for the police to do? pop round and look round your house? i mean, you wouldn't mind would you as you have nothing to hide?
  21. i remember that one, trying to put all away fans in a pub then deciding to put us on a bus to the ground and make us drink there, was a sh*t away day with an even worse performance. taking your mug shot and finger prints would be one step on from the filming in the ground, which you think is fine. if you are going to collect Donny ticket you might need an earlier train, i've had a row with the ticket office who say from 2pm on a match day they are only allowed to deal with match day sales of todays game. also - if you wanted to save money megatrain do much better deals on trains down earlier in the day allowing for more drinking time.
  22. i wish someone would take a recording of the meal rathe than rely on the snippets that someones mates heard. if i went along i wouldn't want to waste time discussing our passing ratio to Barcelona's, what use is that to anyone?
  23. would you be happy if they took your finger prints and mug shot on the way into the ground?
  24. you clearly don't have any experience of the city, have a read of the news article and the 72k people on incapacity benefit.
