i remember that, it wasn't at all funny any everyone who did it embarrassed the club as well as themselves that day.
-
I can vouch for him, Sour Mash knows it IS true, whereas you are guessing based on implication of a news story

Yes Spurs on a monday night in 94/95 season they only gave us a couple of blocks in the west stand lower while the park lane end was being built, couple of hundred tickets is all we got, we then returned there later that season in the FA Cup for a 1-1 draw and the gave us the whole Park Lane lower that had just been opened which was about 6000 tickets. Sunderland away in Jan 2003 when we won 1-0 Beattie scoring was the smallest i have been in, was about 150 saints there, and it was FREEZING. Middlesbrough in about '92 was low, i heard lower than 100 from some who were there. if you want the joy of being in small away followings then pre-season away games are good for that! think we took some small numbers to ZDS cup away games in early 90s

i remember that day, and there is a pic from it in the "cult heros" book in the Benali chapter, cracking photo

Depends when you wore it, back in the 90s when no one else knew what it was it was hardly a look at me, but around the turn of the century it did become over done. Still a top Stone Island jacket is one of the best you can get, it is all the cheap knock off jumpers and fakes that make them look dreadful. i wore a scarf and a shirt as a kid growing up, as would most fans i'd imagine.

Several teams use same inc Arsenal and Fulham, its a great system and choosing exact seats you want is how it should be. Ours is a joke.

I see the under 18s are home to the skates on Saturday, any idea if we are allowed to go and watch?
-
last season they put away tickets on sale on a monday, often after a home game, several times, meaning those of us who cannot pop along to the ground had to pay the booking fee, so yes, they were holding off on selling them.

Proof that we don't need to fill SMS to expand...

If we gave away team 6000 tickets that would be an immediate boost to attendances against the big clubs, not that i'd want to do that, but that would mean we could get 35k without even having to increase our fan base -
i think you can as a friend of mine did it, but you'd need to go to the ticket office, hand back the tickets you have and have new seats issued, so depends how close you are to St Marys as to whether it is worth the hassle, plus chances are they'll be the last seats they put on sale so you'd have to be quick to get the spot you want. according to the Brighton forum yesterday they have nearly sold out their tickets, so should be close to another full house

Interesting, i had a look a few weeks ago and they were available online to buy for that day, 4 for 2 on the group save, it now doesn't have that option, so i'd say it looks like you missed your chance on those. worth booking trains for away games as early as possible, we normally do 12 weeks in advance.
-
so season ticket holders could buy one extra ticket each? i assume when we play them here season ticket holders and "database" will be able to buy as usual, although maybe limited to one per customer number
-
it is interesting that saints have no point stated how many tickets are availoable in the ballot, unless i have missed it? which does imply the final decision may still not have been taken by the police how much segregation to leave
-
still no details on selling arrangements for non-season ticket holders? i'm not convinced we'll sell out to just season ticket holders by this method.
-
where there is a will there's a way, sneak hip flasks, bottle of coke with vodka etc, having said that people should be buzzing on pure adrenaline going to fratton , shouldn't need a drink to get up for a game like this.
-
if you want to get a certain seat you need to get in early, if you're not bothered where you sit then take your time getting a ticket i think is the message. if we are still top come March i can see the home end selling out very quickly at st marys for the skates visit on Easter weekend.
-
it is a complete myth that they have such great fans, however they do unfortunately have excellent PR and the media love going on about the "superb support" they enjoy. it is interesting that once again the report confirms our allocation is 3200, that is a good number of tickets, and with the roof they have now we should be able to make loads of noise. i do worry that with the travel limitations and the postal ballot requirements we won't sell them all, which would be incredibly embarrassing.

no, not really. it is only offensive if the Brighton fans deem having a large gay community is to the detrement of their town, if they rejoice in their town being known as such then it shouldn't wind them up so much. The song is not directly saying being gay is a bad thing.
-
you really think someone singing "we can see you holding hands" has a "hatred or fear of gay people"? football songs generally try and wind up the opposition fans, not saying this is a good song, but clearly this song isn't abusive of the gay community but uses them in an attempt to ridicule the people of Brighton

I can only think of one good thing about getting back in the Premier.
JRM replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
i'm fairly sure if you just said premier league no one will confuse it with us getting back to the scottish top division, it has sneaked into terminology since the cricket league in India started -

and why the f*ck do people refer to it as the EPL? -
it sure would, £12 per passenger on a double decker which holders 80 people at least they would be raking it in!!! plus no toilets on board.

Wolves fans are paying £50 for Chelsea away coming up, Arsenal fans were paying £65 at stamford bridge a couple of weeks ago, ticket proces like that unfortunately put a downer on what should be a really positive thing being promoted -
not sure where you got this list from, but it clearly isn't correct. Not all of those teams went into admin, Wimbledon / MK Dons was a re-location and rebranding, Ipswich, Derby not sure about? QPR i suppose have done the best out of that list
