  1. we know that Brighton fans have highlighted we can see you holding hands and does your boyfriend know you're here, and that is what prompted celebrity PC plod to launch his media campaign, it's a load of nonsense. you sound like one of those people who get stressed and take offence on behalf of other people , oh you can't do this , you can't do that, it might offend someone, oh "it's against the law". pathetic, but somes up modern football, and you as a typical modern football fan
  2. funny how our celebrity copper can find time to have his picture in the paper and "clamp down" on football fans, but if you called them and reported a burglary a burglary they just add you to a list and no one would come out. those of us who live in the real world can see what this is all about, football fans are an easy target for statistic hungry coppers.
  3. we have got about 15k season ticket holders, no way on earth did 8k apply for skates away, absolutely no chance , a couple of thousand top i reckon
  4. there are a couple of current football intelligence officers at saints who are based at Fratton police station, make of that what you will. We also have a "banning order officer" who is responsible for issuing bans, that is basically his job, so it is in their interests to keep the bans coming and keeps them in their jobs, for the lads who got nicked, depending what evidence they have against you i would recommend contacting the football supporters federation who may be able to assist with you fighting against the case. unfortunately unless they earn less that 15k they almost certainly won't get legal aid so will have to fight the charge at considerable expense of use a duty solicitor on the day. section 5 public order is being used increasingly against football fans and is a charge of choice of the OB due to it's nature - they just have to say the words used could cause harrassment, alarm or distress to someone in the area, it is a vague charge and in front of a judge can be hard to defend against.

    IOW Festival 2012

tickets go on sale friday at 9am, not sure who the other acts will be yet? http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/9375146.Boss_to_headline_festival/
  6. in terms of number of support, yes they are. Away numbers they are up there with the best. 6200 at Coventry for example. Most of their away games so far have sold out to season ticket holders.
  7. there is absolutely no chance whatsever of it being anywhere near that number!!
  8. so why not even mention non-season ticket holders in the ticket news? and never mention the allocation number? lets face it the whole thing has been a stitch up from the start, they will be pleased with fewer away fans, 2200 on double decker buses won't be that many buses really
  9. i am convinced the club / OB never had any intention to sell tickets to saints non-season ticket holders, and however many applied (maybe 2200?) will be the allocation, the remainder of the seats will then become "segregation"
  10. Looking forward to doing the new ground, but not the best time for it, bank holiday monday after new year not ideal for a day out on the beer, we had Dagenham last year on that day and our support was fairly subdued. wonder if they will do a ballot for this one, 2,575 will sell out easily.
  11. you can also guarantee they will have to go to court and not get a caution for no other reason than the OB obsession with giving out banning orders and topping up there statistics to get the budget signed off for next year.
  12. that is an absolute disgrace, best of luck to the lads or lasses caught up in the Rick Burrows career publicity campaign, as some else pointed out on here the bible is more homophobic than the "we can see you holding hands" song, when up in court they should say i cannot swear on the bible due to what it stands for. Hants football police are an absolute waste of space.
  13. and before you say anything one of my favourite saints players of all time is Ken Monkou, so i can't be racist or homophobic.
  14. you didn't answer the question, what do YOU find so offensive about the words we can see you holding hands? i'm off for my Friday lunchtime pint in the Admiral Duncan, see you there
  15. order the ticket and tell them you want to collect it from Doncaster on the day of the game, or just pay on the day, it is a pain, but you can still do the game so worth doing that
  16. go on then, explain to us all what you as a gay person find so offensive about the words "we can see you holding hands" ?
  17. i still won't be able to laugh at any of this until we have gone and beaten them at Fratton. if they do us there all of this will be irrelevant, in my opinion.
  18. i reckon west ham or palace, it is at the new ground so not many teams have been there, southern accents i think so not Leeds
  19. brilliant and then we could do that song shouting peoples names, SEEEEEEEPPPPPPP, SUAREZ etc
  20. Adrian, no offence mate, but the way you are moaning about this you sound like a bender, what is offensive about we can see you holding hands other than it isn't that funny?
  21. hahaha just watched this, what a funny news report, i love how the reporter puts on a serious voice when reading out the "homophobic" songs such as we can see you holding hands' gosh, what shocking homophobia to sing that.
  22. Hahahaha yes these decent people are much better off sticking to rugger.
  23. Hahahaha what are the odds that Mr borrows is a keen member of hants constabulary gay, lesbian and transgender group?!
  24. i'll joing in with that Turkish.
