can you please explain where your £35 saving comes from? £3 booking fee x 10 = £30, they are charging £5 admin fee, so would be £25 saving. IF you paid the booking fee each time, which is unlikely for any fan who doesn't pay the booking fee it is actually MORE expensive by £5 for them to take your money off you in advance and have the benefit of your cash

they don't fly over from Switzerland for every home game
-
i think it is a bit convenient. the club clearly didn't like the thought of it being used and ponced around with "health and safety" excuses that were proved to be incorrect on the basis that other clubs have them, they also have an empty corner of the ground if they wanted it to be in a place that didn't cover fans. this way they get the fans off their back and can wash their hands of it.

what were the nightclubs like over there? decent priced beer? local totty?
-
there won't be any games when it will really be a problem to get a ticket, as long as Skates and Cov you buy early. Leicester, Cardiff and Ipswich midweek will have plenty of available tickets, Doncaster at home as well, they could open up extra blocks of the notham as for a few games there will be small away followings

Don't think anyone is moaning? just pointing out that what some have referred to as a good deal isn't and doesn't offer any of the benefits of a half season ticket?

The blue few down the road - Its not getting any easier

because they haven't really been punished yet, they've just carried on - if we go up this year and they go down i'll start feeling better about it, then hopefully drop down to league two playing in front of 5k at Fratton - i'll be happy then. -
have the Christmas markers opened there yet? i was there in 2005 and it was a good laugh, they serve beer and gluwein and lots of german totty with their blonde hair sticking out under their wooly hats, they used to be in the 3rd division but have a big ground.

i don't think that is a good deal? £225 is for the chapel So for 10 games works out at £23 a match, which is what the price is anyway, so there is no financial benefit for paying up front now for 10 games that you can just wait and pay per game anyway. You don’t get any of the privileges for being a season ticket holder either, so wouldn’t qualify for a “renewal” next season, What are the benefits of buying this?
-
do you not know any season ticket holders? they can get you a ticket regardless of the number of aways you have done
-
it is interesting they are making non-season ticket holders prove they have been to 4 aways, but season ticket holders can get an extra ticket each for anybody, regardless of how many games they have done, i would say those who want one just get your season ticket holder mates who are already going to get another one for you. with no indication of how many we have sold i have a feeling there are still quite a few left
-
it does show up some of the people trying to compare us to west ham on a recent support when it comes to levels of support. it is again interesting that the official site article still makes no reference to how many tickets we have actually been allocated, how many we have actually sold, and how many remain
-
Why are any of you celebrating / laughing? they haven't really been punished yet and continue to operate in mid-table in the championship and are still "getting away with it" our time for celebrating will come when they have been through what Luton have.
-
i hear what you're saying, but no laughter from me until we've beaten them in a few weeks time, lose that game and all this won't seem funny to me at all

Get PC Rick Burrows on the case!! he is the new sherlock homes after capturing southampton's most wanted homophobes!
-
if that is true it is unbelievable, if the OB state in court that they intend to give him a ban DO NOT plead guilty, let them prove he did enough under section 5 act for it to be considered harrassment, alarm or distress. also worth giving these chaps a shout http://www.fsf.org.uk/campaigns/Watching-football-is-not-a-crime.php for legal advice see if they can recommend a decent brief
-
was that as a saturday job for a few extra quid? i'd like to do that, would be a good money saver not having to buy tickets and better than being a steward
-
ok - a ticket for Brighton away? see who we get in the Cup?
-
i went in there the other week and they were putting shirts on the shelves, with lots of kids sizes, or are you buying adults? it does show poor management and stock control for sure, as it is only a one season shirt you'll only have half a season left anyway, so maybe get them some tickets for a game instead.
-
it is a shame they didn't just give us the whole end behind the goal, we would have filled it and helped them get a sell out
-
some teams do loyalty points now, you get X amount up front for being a season ticket holder, but also get points for thw away games you go to, so someone who does a lot of aways but few homes can work up a loyalty rating almost equal to that of a season ticket holder. when away tickets go on sale they go to people with X number of loyalty points on a sliding scale, seems a good idea to me.
-
plenty of people i know from away games aren't season ticket holders.

i think the only other seasons i can remember this sort of buzz are 1989/90 when we finished 7th but were up there playing amazing football under Chris Nicholl, playing 4-2-4 with front line of Le Tiss, Rod Wallace, Rideout and Shearer and brilliant Cup wins getting the the league cup ¼ finals and FA Cup 5th round winning 3-1 away at Spurs in the 3rd round. 2003 was good with the momentum building up to the cup final. For all generations though this home run is unheard of, 20 straight home wins will never be bettered in my life time I am sure, wonder if we can keep the run going and break the league record? It does annoy me when so many people are streaming out the exit in injury time and the final whistle goes in front of a half full ground,

have a look at the FSF website mate, there has been a big growth in the number of arrests at football for section 5 of the public order act, which is so vague it allows the police to pretty much nick anyone they want, they just have to say the words or actions you used caused harrassment, alarm or distress, they don't even need someone to go to court to say they were caused that distress, so yes by basically swearing they can nick you. with the drop in violence at football the police have had to find new ways to keep their arrest rates up, and now focus on minor matters such as this. football is this country is a joke, and unfortunately at southampton we have drawn the short straw with people like Rick Burrows out to make a name of themselves
