i reckon any season ticket holder who applies will get a ticket, regardless of away games personally, loads of fans i know who do aways aren't season ticket holders
-
I think there may be an implication that the bouncer was acting in self defence / it was an accident throwing seaborne out who fell? and the injurues sustained were from a fall rather than a punch etc?
-
Martin looked good at centre back I thought
-
It would have been nice to have made more of an effort to win it having got to the 4th round and a winnerable tie against a palace side who were there for the taking. We've really not looked convincing away from home recently. Harding seemed to make a real effort to put himself out of first team contention in the 2nd half , had a dreadful last 15mins.
-
Good turn out, made some noise and all standing, but it was a 4th round cup game in London so that's the sort of numbers I'd expect from us.
-
He really was dreadful tonight and I'm afraid I hope we don't see him in a saints shirt again. For the first 60 mins we might as well have been playing with no one up front tonight. Young Reeves didn't get a look in at all.
-
no chance will you need that many, despite good numbers away you overlook that quite a number of our away support are not season ticket holders.
-
surely surely surely they will put tickets on sale to non-season ticket holders? has this info not been released yet? the ticket information is often misleading, but in the interests of our support looking as good as possible i'd like the ticket office to be more pro-active, don't want any empty seats in our end.
-
Correct, we have the middle blocks but i wouldn't be surprised if people can move along into other blocks as they'll open more up for pay on the day people.
-
any particular car park you'd recommend for away fans Colin?
-
if we have Reeves and Forte up front i think i'll be tempted to stay in the pub and not bother going in the ground.
-
its a fair way, almost half way to Nuneaten - but its not too bad you just get the football special bus from station that takes you straight to the ground.
-
i've done it before, fairly easy just get the shuttle bus service which goes from near the station, my only advice would be leave a bit of time as with traffic it can take a while, and don't plan to get a train soon after the final whistle as it can take a while to get back to town.
-
i don't even know what Reeves and Ward-Prowse look like, let along where they play, looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully progressing in the cup, bit worried we'll be so under strength we'll go out even to a weakened Palace team
-
Yes - you just pay on the day at the ground, tickets are £15 in advance and £20 on the gate, easy to get to from central London and back to Clapham afterwards so a nice easy one to do.
-
no, next round would be tuesday 29th November http://www.carling.com/carlingcup/draw/ so before Doncaster away would be great to win and get to the 1/4 finals
-
clearly the club just have no appetite for it and the token gesture back on the summer was just that, bit of a waste of money to be honest, which is a real shame.
-
so your point is Arsenal had a board / safety officer as petty as Saints current one back in the days when they were at Highbury?
-
i know, my point is there won't be any problems getting tickets, if we want they will just keep opening more blocks of that end. It is quite misleading when they announce we have "an initial allocation of 1000" without mentioning we could have thousands more if we want them. the ground is just off junc 3 of the M6 so with a good run on the A34 you could get a car load up there in a couple of hours.
-
Good news that we have already sold the 1024 initial allocation with two weeks to go until the game, on general sale from today so we could take loads up there, Leicester took over 6000 first game of the season. Guess if we do well against Middlesbrough and Peterborough at home next two games will influence a lot of people on whether or not to make the trip, if we are still top then will be good to take over 3000 http://www.footballgroundguide.com/coventry_city/ http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2482474,00.html
-
This is a classic case - you can only buy away tickets online once they have gone on general sale, when they are on to season ticket holders you can only call or buy in person as the website can't handle it. the tickets went on general sale today so i reckon they have forgotten to take the restriction off, you might as well call up as have to pay the ticket tax either way.
-
Reading also had a good selection of wines at £3.20 -probably due to them being sponsored by waitrose. would be nice if they also had a deli counter for half time snacks.
-
Good news if we really have sold over 1500 already and have another 800 on sale, shift those before next Tuesday and have a few pay on the day and we could re-name the ground Dellhurst Park. i honestly can't remember a season where we have taken 2000+ regularly away from home, good to see.
-
the only reason why they were "sold out" was because they gave us a handful to begin with, don't know why it was an initial allocation of 1000 when we would clearly want more, and they have room for several thousand in that stand. looking forward to this one, don't want to get any injuries of suspensions, but would be great to get through to the 1/4 finals would be cracking.

surely he'd pose for a photo with him and get his autograph first?
