Another good alternative (especially those wanting to drink around Liverpool st) is to jump on the Waterloo & City line to Bank which is one stop from Waterloo, then join the central line there to Liverpool st (one stop) or stay on it to Leyton

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2326945,00.html the 525 extra tickets received are sold out as well now. still a few family area ones left
-
it does make you wonder how many we could have taken if it was completely open sale with a huge away end, i reckon 7-8000 potentially http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2326945,00.html i'm still not sure about the plan of having a family area (which still ISN'T SOLD OUT) they should just sell those tickets to away fans who want to go.

Could anyone help me to get Brighton and Brentford ticket?
JRM replied to Moscow Saint (Zhezlov)'s topic in The Saints
Agreed. Whoever threw that needs to work on their technique though, they rely on a lucky bounce off someone's head on the way down to the pitch!! -

Moscow saint good luck with this, you have picked a good 5 games to do, it is a shame the club won't help you but I'm not surprised it is a shame but they don't give a **** about the fans anymore. I think view from the top is a good bet for you as he does a lot of away games. Please bring your Russian saints flag again -
I have to say N'Guessen is one of the worst players i've ever seen in a saints shirt, at Charlton the other players only passed to him when there were no other options available and Harding had a go at him a number of times.

It is unbeleivably RUBBISH seriously compared to what some other clubs offer it is embarrassing. they release the away ticket details as a news story and then they drift into the archive, where unless you check all the time can be easily missed, the ticket area of the site should have game by game info to click on with any updates added to the game. There are so many improvements that could and should be made. as a contrast, go on Arsenal.com, you can buy tickets today for their Brazil v Scotland (sunday), and you get emailed your ticket to print as a PDF and scan on entrance to the ground.
-
Yeah I'm looking forward to it, without Bale I can't see Wales having enough but you never know. Many other Saints travelling ?
-
Turkish I thought you had more initiative than that, still left in family bit, invent some fictional children, get your tickets + £5 junior one that's gets you in and bet you can move around the stand once in.
-
why plymouth are on sale now, and it is general sale, you just need to call up and buy one. away support has been good, 3,098 at Charlton last night mid-week was excellent, 1500 at Walsall midweek was excellent, we don't take that many anywhere north of Birmingham but hopefully plenty will make the effort for Rochdale with it being in the Easter holidays, and a new ground for most of us. Brighton and Brentford will almost certainly be sold to season ticket holders applying by post who have been to most away games.

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2322873,00.html anyone savvy enough will just get family tickets pay the extra £5 for the kids ticket then either try and get a mate in on a kids ticket or just go in alone and write off the fiver extra paid
-
the tone of the club annoucements so far implies they are not concerned about people travelling and not getting in, so you will be fine, and at the very worst just go in the home end. I just hope the 3000 making the journey actually stand and get behind the team.
-
fair enough mate, drop me a text if you change your mind and you fancy a pint of courage.
-
I reckon there must be plenty of tickets left still, http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2320913,00.html latest update this morning still reminding people if they do not but in advance price will increase by 50p on the night, and as you cannot collect tickets you must pay on the gate if you cannot get to st marys, surely they would not put that if it was close to a sell out
-
you going tomorrow night Turkish? On the train?

2775 allocation 2 per season ticket holder http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2318938,00.html tickets on sale on Monday
-
Interesting they are allowing 2 per season ticket holder!!
-
It does sound like they really are close to going to the wall, our game could be last at home park which would be emotional. Think there are 7 weeks left of the season, selling a few thousand tickets to saints will help. The real shame is this is what should be happening to the skates.
-
I would say its worth putting the word out to anyone you know to get them to buy tickets now just in case, the usual away section holds 2100 I think which is nothing for what could be a bank holiday promotion decider. we had people on here complaining they could not get a Bournemouth ticket, but the fact games like Charlton (plenty left) and Plymouth ("a fair few hundred" left) both being on open sale to anyone there really is no excuse for not getting tickets for the important run in matches. Brighton and Brentford will sell out to season ticket holders so those who can't get tickets for those might as well do Charlton and Plymouth instead (and Orient and Rochdale).
-
I don't know why Orient are stalling, they really don't get big crowds at home so even giving us the whole 3500 side stand they still wont sell out the home bit. For anyone thinking about going to the run in away games I had a chat with the ticket office earlier and: Charlton - we've sold about 2200 so still about 800 available and can pay on the day costing 50p more so no excuses for not getting a ticket if you want one, I'm surprised we are not closer to selling out to be honest, would be good to completely sell out and fill the end http://www.footballgroundguide.com/charlton_athletic/ Plymouth - selling very well but still a fair few hundred left, on open sale so again no excuses for not getting a ticket for this one if you want one. Rochdale - LOADS of tickets available and can pay on the day so again, no excuses if you want a ticket. Orient - i reckon we'll get the 3500 which will mean anyone off the mark will get tickets no problems Brighton - will only be 800 tickets, surely another postal application. Brentford - 1800 tickets, surely will sell out to season ticket holders, not sure if they will do a postal app for that one though especially with Plymouth only two days later so some fans may pick one or the other.
-
a friend of mine called up an hour ago for a few tickets, apparently they have been selling very well for the last two days, but there are still "a few hundred" left, not able to put a figure on it, but I would say anyone intending on going to this should get their's fairly soon, with Brentford and Brighton likely to sell out to season ticket holders this game is a good chance to do with tickets on open sale.
-
I would like to know about plans for season tickets for next season, and why last season's were sold with such a lack of enthusiasm by the club. other teams based in our catchment area offer more attractive deals http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/SeasonTickets/0,,10306,00.html Reading Walsall's programme last week they had a concerted campaign to get people signed up for season tickets and were thankful of those who had. Saints approach last year gave the impression they didn't give a s*it if you bought one of not, made zero effort on marketing, late annoucement, not allowing people to buy after the start of the season. They should sort out the installment plan for loyal fans who want to renew that way. Basically don't take the fans for granted. Why was there no effort made for a mark of respect for Dean Richards? Out of the various decisons he has made this season that have made him look naive and petty, does he have any regrets?
-
it will be a ballot i think, but i have no faith in the ticket office in getting things like this right. assume they will start sending tickets out to those successful tomorrow then we will have to just wait for the post to see if successful?
-
i know saints fans in the past could not be bothered to write, but this game being so important and a local short trip i'd have thought 3000 or so would have applied. shame they didn't give us loads as would be a good one to take a big following to.
