  1. Going on that our tickets should be £20, as that is how much it is for home fans in the opposite end. some more info here - http://www.footballgroundguide.com/millwall/
  2. Correct. Our passing was dreadful, defenders looked to bypass the midfield almost everytime, we gave the ball away constantly and lobbing up to Lambert is asking him to do too much with no players supporting him. One decent move we had was an excellent through ball by Schneiderlin to Antonio who cut in only to lose his head and put in his usual poor cross rather than play it across the 6 yard line for Lambert running in.
  3. I agree with yourself and the previous poster, don't understand why people bother travelling and then don't get behind the team at all, looking at some of them sitting there completely lifeless and disinterested I reckon they must put something in the travel club tea.
  4. Yes. That is basically what spurs did for the carling cup final. Whole end behind the goal stood and looked superb with top atmosphere v Man Utd, saints v Leeds could be similar not worth thinking about now though really as we're bound to lose to MK
  5. pretty much spot on, antonio and james are not good enough for this level. Bit out of order on the ballboy but deserved some abuse for acting like a c.nt in front of awayfans timewasting.
  6. Good news, so Exeter have sold the 1200 with more paying on the day. All helps push towards the 30k mark
  7. As a club they are probably not used to buying away tickets in advance with small numbers travelling and in lower divisions often it is just pay on the day, so hopefully they'll fill the 1200 allocation, so we'd need 28,800 saints to top 30k, sounds like we are on for that at the moment.
  8. Agreed, they should put a note on tickets for any part of the Northam saying if you don't want to sing and stand use one of the other stands. The £10 offer in the Family Centre should ensure all families are safely sat up there away from anyone who could offend them. Will be great to see the ground full again, hope Exeter can bring a couple of thousand to make it a decent atmosphere.
  9. Considering our allocation was only 1900 I thought we might sell out, being another new ground that many would tick off the list, did the ticket office mention how many were left?
  10. Ouch, should've seen that coming. so 30k published attendance will look like 25k in the ground
  11. 5 day forecast for Colchester looks ok to me http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/2189?&search=colchester&itemsPerPage=10&region=uk it wont be off. get your tickets.
  12. greyhound mate, booked it a few weeks back with no trains running thought id give it a try, tubes seem to be running and dont want to miss this if we have 30k there.
  13. surprised no ticket news for this one yet, will only be 3 weeks away on saturday. Hopefully we'll get the full 4000 upper and lower tiers.
  14. you wouldn't be believing, human nature allows superstition to make you do it on the off chance that miraculously some force will intervene and you will not die. it would be last throw of the dice rather than a genuine belief that God would save you. That is why we start praying at football. Desperation. Come on saints, only a minute to go......
  15. you can get a cab if you wanted to. anyone coming down from London, greyhound and national express are both running a decent service. I got a return for £2.50
  16. If that isn't including away fans, then effectively there is only 4k left of "home end" seats.
  17. Doesn't bother me at all. If I wanted to be lectured about a mythical tale i'd go to Church, not my football clubs website.
  18. that must be including away fans, otherwise 27k plus the away section would only leave a couple of thousand seats left for sale in the home end.
  19. I think we had sold over 21,000 for Exeter as at a week ago, and with the £10 for Adult and Child pair special deal hopefully we will get close to the 30k mark. Will depend on how many Exeter bring with them. It will be a big one for them, but with no trains running and still a few hours drive I doubt they'll bring more than 1500. Any idea what the latest ticket sales are? January is going to be a massive month with potential transfers in and out of the club, JPT area final first leg, 6 pointer games v Millwall / Huddersfield / Swindon, who knows could have a big tie in the FA Cup 4th round.
  20. I think the differences in opinion are between those who travel to away games and those who follow through the media, we've had top days out at fair prices this year, away from all the hyped up over commercialised "best league in the world" Found this on the internet, if we got back to the top flight I can imagine i'd go back to spending money on taking in games throughout the continent rather than a fortune for a dull Premiership ground away game. I’m old enough to remember when football was great in my home country (England). Although I will forever support the team I was born with I find myself travelling Europe looking for the atmosphere and passion to match that I remember from the past. I went to my 1st game in 1986, I remember the old stadium it was cold, wet and freezing cold and the 1st time I stepped onto the terrace was a moment I will never forget. I remember the atmosphere, passion and the fear that went with football back then. But now it’s gone, money, all-seater stadiums, over the top policing, passionless fans jumping on the bandwagon, and games on TV have killed everything that made football great. So if you’re armchair supporter with your Sky TV subscription then maybe you're to blame. If you’re not prepared to support your team no matter what then maybe you're to blame. If you only go to the football because it’s fashionable then maybe you're to blame. And of course there's the police.... Against Modern Football (No al Calcio Moderno).
  21. Its not lack of ambition, just simply saying I am enjoying going to football more now then I did in the premiership. And I would refuse to pay the stupid ticket prices that most top flight clubs charge for away fans. so i would simply still go for the day out on the beer with the lads, but stay in the pub for the game and watch sky sports news rather than hand over £50 to watch us lose at Chelsea
  22. I feel the same. I've already done virtually all of the top flight grounds from when we were there before, and I certainly wouldn't pay the amounts charged now. Mates who follow teams such as spurs / fulham and this year paid £50 to go to man utd (spurs carling cup), £47 to go to Chelsea and West Ham. Crazy prices and I can't believe away numbers haven't reduced more up there. It is a boring league with a number of away games almost certain defeats. Burnley away for Fulham fans at the weekend was £32, I'm sure when we went there last season it was only £20! I'd rather be in this league winning regularly paying £18 a ticket.
  23. was that on championship manager? i never got into that. i did have subbuteo as a kid though. that was a proper game, even had the stands and would use my star wars characters to invade the pitch and get the game abandoned
  24. i'd think it was hilarious, you come across as the type of kiddie who can excel at computer games and probably know how to do cheats and all that stuff, but give you a ball at your feet or ask you to run and it'll all be a bit much, plus your glasses might fall off as you trip over your feet
