I'm sorry, but until they actually get to court I refuse to believe they are actually going out of buisness. None of their best players have left yet? If their players are paid tomorrow and some come in I still think we are in trouble come the 13th.
-
I still dont understand this with the embargo being lifted, the FA must have some proof the wages are being paid on time this month?
-
I don't understand this at all. has the website being down got anything to do with non-payment? Who are the other creditors attached to the winding up order? and how does this add up with them having the embargo lifted ????? Are the next wages due tomorrow? Surely if these are not met the FA will have a lot to answer for , the embargo should still be in place. surprised they have not sold more players so far.

get a f*cking grip, the amount of time we discuss a game on the internet as no impact on the approach of the team to a game. The chances are we would not make the play offs regardless of our cup runs, so thank god we have managed to have 2 successful runs to give us something to truely remember this season by, I agree that the MK game should be the focus rather than the skates, that way even if the skates are beating us we can still sing Wembley songs in the knowledge that we are on our way there regardless of the pompey score.

Got a few in block 3 this morning, the bird on the phone said vitually all this morning had been block 42 moving to block 1 and 2, don't think they realise block 1 isnt actually a block it's tiny, so is block 2. Block 3 the place to be in my opinion.

you can buy as many as you want as long as you have the customer / season ticket numbers. they count it as one sale per customer ID, but one person paying for the lot. easy.

Supporters Group Meeting at St Marys Today. Important News About the Future.

No we haven't. For the final years at the Dell we have the Archers road stand which was next to the away fans to our left. We also have some vocal support in the lower east. When the move occured to st marys the archers moved to the Northam and quite a few from Lower East moved to the Itchen corner. that is how it worked with fans doing what they wanted, not through club organisation etc. the idea of creating an end doesn't work, it could have been the chapel but people chose not to go there. -
some of the moronic posts on here are quite overwhelming and that StuRomsey has it absolutely spot on. Leicester Saint, are you saying in the last nine years you have never bought a ticket over the phone from saints that has been posted to you for a home game? that will get you on the database. Are you not planning on going to any other home games this season? If not, then dont bother coming down for the pompey game.
-
Doesn't seem that way to me at all? If you are a saints fan chances are you would have bought a ticket before and therefore be on the database. you would also be prepared to go to another home at some point this season. therefore you can buy a ticket as soon as they go on sale to non-season ticket holders.
-
Had a quick look on the pompey site out of interest to see how they were selling their tickets and what loyalty scheme etc, no details as yet but a couple of interesting points: - £28 tickets is actually quite CHEAP for them when you consider the price of premiership football nowdays, some forthcoming games its £42 at Man Utd, £37 at Spurs and even £32 at Burnley. - Also, anyone concerned about our fixture pile up, the skates actually have more games in the next two weeks than us, playing Man City away 31.01, Fulham away 03.02, Man Utd away 06.02, Sunderland home 09.02, fingers crossed those 4 games will give them zero points, a few injuries and a couple of suspensions.

No if he has a customer number you can buy it for him at the same time. or he can just pick up a phone

I dont think indifferent types will go in those blocks for this game. These 3 blocks will sell out very quickly.

other requests: decent pre-season tour venues tell the stewards to be a bit more laid back like MK Dons were with standing add away attendances in brackets next to match attendance to the stats page of the programme. -

LoL exactly it will just be musical chairs with the whole ground moving around and we'll just move near the away fans again. -
Any news on Connolly being available again? He seems to have been 50/50 for the last 3 weeks.
-
That would work if we had any members.
-
I think it is more the point that despite significant improvement before xmas we seem to have gone back to our poor form, the 2nd half yesterday was dreadful, no passing, aimless long balls and people were criticing Lambert but there was nothing he could do other than chase lost causes. The midfield looked weak and Ostemobor should be on the bench in my opinion.
-
more to the point 16k for stockport, I cannot see it being any more than 18k for this game as they will bring virtually no fans down. Anyone who brought a programme at stockport away this year might have noticed they were proud of the fact they took 135 fans to Brighton. Will be interesting to see how many half season tickets are sold by the end of this week.
-
It surely is not a coincidence that the teams we struggled against at the start of the season are the same teams we are again struggling to pick up points from now
-
I agree with that, Ostemobor looks lost most of the time and was beaten by their winger several time. The 2nd half performance was as bad as Swindon away.
-
does that mean we should have waited a couple of weeks and knocked reduced the price of the Fonte deal? And if Mark Fry is appointed administrator surely our contacts will allow us to have the pick of their squad at mates rates prices?
-
It does make me laugh when people go on about JCLs. If we have averaged 20k this season, and had 11k season ticket holders for the 1st half with an average away following of say 1.8k then we have had 7000 "extras" attending on average. Now obviously that is not the same 7000 each time, and is probably a mix of 12000 odd people who make some games but not others due to various reasons, financial / family / cant be bothered. When they all attend at the same time that is when we get the large crowds, like Brighton and Exeter (plus larger away followings). Of course there are some who haven't done games at all this season, but mostly it is just people who were members and now just attend as and when. That doesn't make them a JCL. And this whole panic is ridiculous anyway. Just make sure you get on the phone when they go on sale (after season ticket holders time has expired) I very much doubt in the week before the game there will be many on here begging for tickets.
-
sounds like another weird one to me, just spoke to the ticket office, we haven't sold out, but tickets are only on sale until 5pm from st marys, you can't pay on the day or collect on up there which doesn't make sense at all to me. if you work in London anyway might be worth going down there anyway, I know for a fact you can pay on the gate for the Brentford end.

f*ck sake this is supposed to be a proper rivaly, hostile atmosphere not a end of season lets all have a party on the bingo bus day out.

In the past they have announced dates in around April time, which is fairly short notice so hopefully somewhere that has plenty of budget flights, Italy would be good, or Switzerland as well. I remember reading a certain Everton lads book about a pre-season trip they did there when the flag was removed from the town hall sparking a hunt by the local police, they ended up hidiing it in Neville Southalls room. Halmstad in 2006 was one of the best away days I've ever done. Feyenoord in 2001 was good as well via the Dam.
