you are still making assumptions. lets wait and see.
-
still think i will wait for it to actually happen rather than take an enjoyment in assumptions, funny old game and all that. by this time next week they could be in the FA Cup 1/4 final and gloating having been taken over, and I couldn't stand that. Just got a feeling they'll somehow get away with it

if you think it is bad coming up from southampton check trains coming down from carlisle, looks like they will have to come down saturday or by coach/cars sunday, couldnt make kick off otherwise.

FAO: Those who want to stand & sing at Wembley
JRM replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
This thread makes me laugh, the idea is clearly for the benefit not just for those who want to stand, but also for those who don't who can then try to avoid those blocks. and for the "i can sing while sitting" posters, last night I don't think there was any noise generated from anywhere in the ground south of the 18 yards line towards the Northam end. Hopefully that will improve on saturday. -

F8ck sake i hate fans like you. From what you have said above you clearly have no grasp of what it is like to actually support the team. lets stand up and clap politely when we score, sit silently for the rest of the game. -
Baker Street is good. Big wetherspoons next to station, The Globe over the road, Allsop arms round the corner. 5 mins on met line to Wembley from there to maximise pub time.

I want us to take as many fans to Wembley as possible, but at the same time it would be a nightmare to get in the ground buzzing to find myself in front of a one game a season family who spend the whole first half asking us to sit down, don't sing etc etc. -
if you turn up at the game and there is already someone in a Royal Mail jacket sitting in your seat you will know why
-
But as Clapham said above, only a secured creditor can play them into admin now, is there a list of who these secured creditors are ?
-
I hope you have passed this information on to the authorities?
-
yeah that's fine mate, I don't blame you for dedicating your time and resources to doing all of that, but the fact you clearly seem to not be prepared to go to one more home match this season means you are at the bottom of the pile for priority for the pompey game and you can't complain about that. there will still be tickets left for next few days so you'll have no problem calling up Wednesday for one.
-
No you don't!! I grew up in London and have had a season ticket travelling down isn't difficult at all, there are loads of London saints, plus more or travel further distances regularly. If you cannot do it for 2 games over the whole 2nd half of the season then you certainly fall into that category
-
As long as you get down the ground fairly early, and don't hang about afterwards (pompey will be kept in the ground) you will be fine, other than that just keep an eye out
-
LOL there is a big queue forming at st marys, people taking tickets back
-
For a start anyone can buy tickets in the chapel stand, they advertise it as a family area but for this game I am sure there will much more atmosphere in that end than usual. and sorry, I fail to have sympathy for people who go on about how they cannot afford 2 tickets etc etc, I am sure if you really wanted to you could borrow a £30 off a mate/family or give something else a miss over the last couple of weeks.
-
Plus make sure you charge them full price and that pays for beers for the day !!

hahahahahaha, sounds like Grant and his Mrs will fit in perfectly in portsmouth: "The eccentric 46-year-old, who once drunk her own urine live on telly, said SHE even ENCOURAGED Grant to go for massages to help him deal with the pressure of football management. And despite her husband being named, Tzofit, who has been married to Grant for 16 years, insisted the revelations had not damaged their marriage. "
-
have the players been paid for january yet?
-
It is one per customer number, if you get 10 your mates customer numbers and go down the ground you can buy 10 tickets.
-
There is definitely a case for a better system to be in place to allocate tickets on a loyalty basis, but those that are panicing don't worry, leave it for a couple of hours for the initial rush to go and call back after lunch, there will still be tickets and you'll have a better chance of getting through first time. It is good to see demand up this high, plus with the sell out expected for the Dons game in the JPT hopefully it will have a knock-on effect getting people back in the habit of doing home games and boost attendances for the rest of the season.
-
to be honest there is no point blaming the fans for exploiting the system, I know a few season ticket holders who have all been able to get extra tickets, the basic way round it seems to be someone buys a few tickets with different customer numbers, then one of those customer numbers logs in again and the system lets them buy another ticket. Not sure how it shows up on the ticket office system as the customer number will have more than one ticket against it.
-
i wouldn't worry too much, bet that "ticket sales will sail past 20,000 mark comment includes the 4,000 the skates have sold, as long as you get through in the next day or so i'm sure you'll get a ticket.

Has Chanrai got any history of owning football clubs? or publically expressed a desire to do so? Will be interesting to see what his motives are, it is one thing to loan the club money against the stadium and assets, but another thing althogether to take control of the club and the additional debt that comes with it. So is Al-Faraj completely out of it now? Chanrai clearly has access to funds, but I cannot see what he would gain from paying off debts for Pompey, I still don't really understand it.

Go in the chapel stand, it will be just what you want.

If it wasn't for us playing them soon I would be quite relaxed about it, if anything wanting their relegation to be a long slow drawn out process with admin in the summer, and points deductions next year, but since the cup draw I hoped for a dramatic firesale of players to help us find a level playing field for the cup game. As most of our new signings are cup tied we've got to hope the side who played against Ipswich have another top performance.
