  1. Does it say if you have to show ID? i might treat myself to a reduced price ticket as well
  2. Again, to my point of having the windows open at the ground to sell tickets, much quicker than going through loads of postal applications. At least once we know it is sold out people can start using different options like buying on general sale in the carlisle end
  3. Do you really think we need a whole week sales periods for fans who attended mk dons at home? most of them will either be season ticket holders, or mates of who could already have tickets as part of the +1. That window should only be 2 days, no need for any longer. Just crack on and sell out the allocation, gives us the best chance of getting more in. The fastest selling period after the season ticket holders will be general sale when people can buy tickets from the ticket office, in groups to sit with family/mates
  4. There are still some prime seats available so i wouldnt worry too much, for example blocks 524-527 are upper tier half way line, if you are in the front 10 rows of those blocks you will have one of the best views in the ground £34 not bad. same with 551-501. I really dont think it is neccessary to allow so long for people who went to the Dons match, that should just be a couple of day, then database for a couple of days, then open sale, if we sold out 3 weeks before the game it would improve our case for getting more tickets (and allow time to sell them)
  5. some interesting explanations here for those who want to know about admin and what circumstances it can take place in http://www.phoenix-company.co.uk/what_company_administration_insolvency/?gclid=CKjYjYTniqACFZYU4wodEFFwdw
  6. IF that is true, and we get the go ahead to have 55k then once the season ticket holder week is out the way I think they should just open up sales to all, and let people buy from the club ticket office in person as well. Loads would make arrangements to go up with mates / family who dont go that often, would be great to have the biggest ever club support at Wembley. That would give us the best chance of selling them all.
  7. Yes, the ticket office confirmed yesterday tickets will be available on the gate. I would ignore what Dog posts he seems to think it is funny. get yourself up there tonight
  8. Carlisle did it from day one, think we should have as well. Option of Internet (for those who dont want to queue), phone for those who want to queue sitting down, and personal sale at the ticket office for those who want to queue standing up
  9. well if we get close to selling out and those blocks are left unsold surely Wembley will release them, would be crazy to have whole section of seats bang in the middle of the saints section left empty
  10. I'm not disputing that isn't true, but I am surprised that the most expensive are sold out, guess that just must be blocks 227-231 which are middle tier centre, prime seats, but we also have middle tier 232-238 available at £44 which are also club wembley middle tier. Its not clear what they are doing with the rest of the middle tier 239-245 which are right in the middle of "our" section
  11. so by the end of today probably about 10,000, not bad almost a 1/4 of all tickets sold on day one. There will be plenty of season ticket holders who wont be too bothered what blocks they end up in and hold back from buying until phase 2 or 3 of sales so they can get tickets with other mates. Personally I think they should have had the windows open for sales as well for those who dont use the internet
  12. wrong. Carlisle put tickets on sale they were available on the phone, online, or in person at the ticket office. Tickets purchased over the counter at the ticket office have no booking fee, info passed to me by a carlisle contact who had just been down there to buy them last week
  13. maybe cortese got him to sign an agreement promising he wont tell anyone about the "special plans" before the press release... if the club have anything arranged that would make the £25 more value for money they should advertise it now, otherwise bad luck. I'm sure they will still fill their 100 coaches. if they are 50 seater that is 5000 and we should be taking 44000 + up there.

  15. there is no way we are going to take 1900 to this. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~1966523,00.html once again the info from the ticket office is short of detail, i am sure you'll be able to pay on the day
  16. i thought our support was poor, about 900 there the majority of which seemed content to sit there in silence. The same can be said for Norwich who despite good numbers were like a library. Excellent performance + result, disappointed i forgot to try one of the pies.
  17. My suggestion would only be for games where they do the stupid pre-register by post. I agree it is easy. you could pay on the day for virtually all of our away games this year.
  18. if it is beer time you want get the train. you can drink on board for a start.
  19. No a whole fleet of empty coaches will leave wembley while extra time is being played
  20. I think the online system should be able to recognise how many away game people have been to and allocate tickets on that basis. My policy would be: a) put the tickets on sale well in advance, recently they have been going on sale far to close to the game which does not allow time for staged sales. b) - where the allocation is limited on sale day 1 to people who have been to 6 + aways - day 2 to fans who have done 3 + - day 3 to season ticket holders - day 6 general sale up to day of game. allows plenty of time to sell and no need to pre-register or send off a letter.
  21. It is not the speed of service i object to, it is the stange ticket selling arrangements they come up with. The best investment the ticket off could make would be a proper online package, no more applying by post for popular away games, plus buying home tickets should be able to click on a block and select your seats like other clubs have. I think we will sell all our tickets for Wembley, but there will be loads left on general sale while people wait to buy them together with friends and family, in person at the ticket office, with no booking fee.
  22. Although the loyal travel club members will still go official to get in their pre-match game of bingo
  23. Exactly what I was thinking, if the club want to engage in blatant profiteering, then having a company prepared to take them on is good news for saints fans as it will create a market and keep prices down. With the large numbers of families doing this game I'd expect greyhound will be able to fill loads of coaches.
  24. Do the saints travel club do reductions for juniors? If not, a family of 2 adults, 2 kids would be £100 with saints on Greyhound that would be £60 and get to travel on better coaches!!
  25. I would be interested to hear a bit more justification from the ticket office for the booking fees being applied. As tickets are being sold through the club the booking fee must be going into our income I presume. How much of the ticket revenue do the club get? I presume a fair chunk of it goes to the Football League, which in turn pays for Wembley. This is the Carlisle ticket off wembley map showing the exact blocks that they have been allocated - http://www.carlisleunited.co.uk/staticFiles/87/49/0,,10361~149895,00.pdf
