I am in SEL (lower bit of corner), my brother who bought alot earlier is SE1, so I presume we have fully sold that corner apart from the restricted view seats. If we already haev FA2 seats FA1 is probably sold, shame they just didn't give us the end behind the goal instead of most of us being stuck in a corner. If anyone went down the ground today to get tickets will be interesting to know what block they are up to now.

Yep, I reckon half day off work get up to MK about 3-4pm, time for a few beers, game will be over by 8.50pm so allows more flexibility. According to AA routemaster it 115 miles from Southampton, not great roads, m3, m25, m1, but a good run it wont take that long so would be good to see us take 3k plus. Train not too bad either with an option going via Clapham. Anyone based / working in London it is only 30 mins from Euston and in the Network Card zone. Also, with this being on sky (plus the Charlton home game in earlier round) should make this cup run quite profitable and help fund more signings in January hopefully. Getting through to the 4th round of the FA Cup will also had more income if we beat Luton.

Leeds are a top side, no doubt about it, and Norwich made us look very average during the 2nd half on Tuesday night, however if we can get a bit of luck again with Jaidi and Connolly back then coming away with 3 points is a real possibility, Leeds are bound to lose at home at some point as we should still be buzzing from the Penalty shoot out, especially Bart and Thomas. Remember Leeds have drawn at home to Kettering (in 90 mins) and Huddersfield recently and drawn away at Brentford so no need to get them too much respect

maybe he was just caught short?

maybe not, but i think people like us deserve some privilidges to make up for other disappointments in life :smt040

just been on the phone to the ticket office, apparently we have roughly 600 left and have sold 1900 for Leeds, not sure how accurate that is. They did say no guarantee tickets will be on sale on the day even if there are some left so definitely worth buying in advance.

LOL or ridden a white horse onto the pitch. (1923 Wembley)
-
Excellent away first leg, lets get a result and finish the job at st marys. Pitch invasion to celebrate getting to wembley
-
Assume what you like really, if such a minor issue as this winds you up so much I can only assume you spend most of your time in worried state of judgemental thought. At least Pardew saw sense, it's no big deal. Running on the pitch in celebration is one of the best feelings in football.

f*ck sake mate, have a word with yourself, its football we're talking about not a cub scout camp give it a rest. i sat in the kingsland for a change and the amount of morons in there who sit there tutting and groaning at every mislaid pass, but offer nothing in way of vocal support, one particular clown had a fit over me standing up to let someone walk along the row for blocking his view!! I was down the front for the penalties and the stewards were doing my head still trying to tell people to sit down and one kept threatening people with ejection..... it was a penalty shoot out FFS.

I think we had already sold over 1300 by this time last week so would hope we have got close to 2000 by now. This was a game I was going to give a miss, but decided to go in the end, if there is anyone still thinking about it try and talk one of your group into driving and get some tickets. Would be good to have the full 2500 up there.

I tend to agree with them underestimating the potential crowd. I think Luton will bring about 2k - 2.5k, it is a bank holiday weekend (friday) so people will want to get out of the house, tickets are relatively cheap at £10 for season ticket holders, and with a large crowd expected for Exeter (which I reckon will be about 28k) a good win there will see many return a week later. The point I was making was the previous poster made himself look like a proper wally having a fit over his precious "usual seat". I'd bet decent money he would have been able to get some very near by with equivalent view on the day they went on sale. It will be a good game, decent atmosphere, FA CUP, no rush to get tickets, but get yourself down there.
-
LOL, what a moron. I could understand if you went to part of the ground for the atmosphere and couldn't get in there, but all you need to do on this occasion is get a seat in the Itchen with almost the equivalent view to Kingsland, or wait until they open more blocks of the Kingsland and go in there near the half way line. The Charlton game in JPT was open right up to the half way line in the end. You can even call up and get tickets for you and your little group of pals all together so you can have your no doubt usual witty banter together. at the end of the day, if you wanted to go, you'll go.
-
I'm sure you'll have a lovely time mate, but you're not going to Leeds, you don't know how many tickets we've sold, and no useful advice for those travelling, I really fail to see why people put these sort of posts on here. if everyone who wasn't going posted telling us where they'll be instead the whole thread would be completely pointless
-
Should Pardew rest players in JPT game ahead of Leeds?
JRM replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
you can call up today and get a ticket for £12 and just collect it from the ticket office before the game tomorrow. Normally on match day queues to buy can be long, but collections not so bad. -
I am sure Matt Le Tiss got more than 26 in 94-95 season?
-
It is very poorly written and could mean they are the only blocks open (although doesn't say which) , it could mean the Chapel is closed, it certainly says Season ticket holders cannot have their own seats. I predict a crowd of about 12k for this, although if we play Luton I could see them bring a good 2500 down which might bump it up a bit.
-
Excellent news, hopefully a few more sold next couple of days, and there will be more paying on the day so we could get close to 2500. Walsall's last two home crowds were 3,191 v Oldham and 4,143 v Stockport. Another game we can get close to having 50% of the crowd for!
-
you can see it now, the skates get relegated in the summer, financial crisis, grant leaves at the end of the year, they cannot afford to appoint anyone so promote from within and as they already have someone with experience of managing in the Championship with no money.................

£26 is a rip off for league one, you would have thought Leeds would try to attract more fans to fill their 40k ground rather than over-price it. Had a look on their website and home fan prices for adults are £22 family centre, £26 north and south stands, and £31 for East and West Stands!!! http://www.leedsunited.com/page/StadiumPlanAndPrices/0,,10273,00.html Most away games this year have been roughly £18-£20. If hadn't already booked travel would have been tempting to give this a miss as been there before plenty of times and never really enjoyed it. Their JPT area-semi tickets are cheaper than ours though.
-
Not sure where he got the 1770 figure from but hopefully it is true. Our ticket news could be so much better, keeping fans informed if nearly sold out, it seems to contradict itself by saying the match is "all ticket" but then £18 in advance £20 on the day, so presume you can still pay on the day? I was talking to a couple of lads last night who were planning on going, but just paying on the day.
-
Considering we had an initial allocation of 2100 and the club have not mentioned anything about taking the extra allocation of 600 (which they would usually make a big thing of) then I guess we are not close to selling that yet. Considering we had over 2000 at Northampton for a fairly low key cup game and I can't imagine many saints fans have been to the Bescot stadium before we should at least be able to fill the end behind the goal. Tickets at £18 not too bad. The away end looks like it should be good for atmosphere. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/walsall/ About 150 miles from Southampton so depending on traffic shouldn't take too long to drive there. Looking at the league table the next 3 away games of Walsall, Leeds and Colchester and going to be a real test.

2 of the most cringeworthy songs i've ever heard. And the fact other than a couple of "come on you reds" it was the loudest the Northam got tonight sums it up. I thought he played ok, mistimed a few runs, but others were due to the midfield not picking up his movement and releasing the ball too late.
