  1. That's not Rooney's pre-treatment pic; It's crablungs'.
  2. Send them off? All laptops develop faults (known faults or otherwise). The difference with Apple products is that you can simply take them in to an Apple Store or Service Centre, get them looked at/diagnosed and either repaired on the spot or leave them there got a day or so for repair. Even outside of warranty periods, it's quite common for free repairs to be carried out. Their customer service is second to none. What happens when your Dell, Asus, Acer, Toshiba or any other manufacturers' machine goes wrong? Take it to the place you bought it from and wait how long? Complain all you like about (your opinion of) Apple products, but don't make up such rubbish about the repair process when their are plenty of Apple stores and service centres you can visit.
  3. Delldays, I assume you bought the white MacBook? The auminium unibody MacBook/Pro is of superb build quality. Having said that, my original white MacBook is now in the hands of its second owner and is as good as the day it was bought 5+ yrs ago.
  4. You gave him five broken ribs and did his back door in while she kissed him? Kinky.
  5. Yes. The whole benefit to clubs of offering slightly discounted STs is that they get the cash upfront. Why should people who can't afford to pay for a season ticket upfront be able to have one at a reduced price but pay for it by instalments? There is no logic or commercial sense in this. It could be argued that the club are being socially responsible by not facilitating supporters going into debt. If you can't afford a Season Ticket then don't buy one. If you MUST have one because it's 'your' seat or you don't want to have to buy tickets on a match by match basis, then that's fine: but don't expect a instalment plan to pay the same discounted rate as those who pay upfront in full.
  6. Why on earth SHOULD the club offer an instalment plan for STs? It seems that some people expect a huge discount on the renewal price of their ST, yet can't afford to pay for it so want an instalment plan to do so. That makes no sense whatsoever. If there's going to be a discounted renewal price then it should only be available to people who are going to put the full cost into the club upfront. If those people who say they want a ST for the convenience of having their regular seat and not having to buy tickets on a match by match basis want an instalment plan, then it should be at the full matchday ticket price (without the booking fee). Those people who either can't afford to pay for a ST upfront or know they can't make every home game, and aren't bothered about having their 'own' seat guaranteed can then either buy on a match by match basis can then pay the normal matchday price without the booking fee if they buy their ticket at the box office (it's nonsense to use the 'out of towner' argument for not being able to buy a ticket in the week when it can be bought at the previous home match). If people are then worried about the queues on matchdays to buy, or missing out if they sellout, then a £3 booking fee is a small price to pay on the odd occasion for their peace of mind. I don't understand the problem.
  7. I watched these some time ago, he's brilliant. He did get suspended for a while because of his comments, but there was suck a backlash against that decision and in support of him, that he was reinstated. I want to do this tour because of him, but would want him to do it. Top bloke. I haven't clicked the link, so don't know which one of the four parts it is; his Braveheart and Old People comments are ones to look out for!!
  8. Easy cum, easy go.
  9. Oh yeah, I forgot about that as it's been so long since I started JBing! Add cydia.hackulo.us to your repo sources. AppSync comes from there - although it may well now get installed automatically when Cydia is installed: I seem to recall hearing rumblings that they were going to do that! Anyway, as long as you have automatic firmware updates switched off, there's no problem in syncing whatsoever.
  10. There are plenty of torrents out there for tomtom. This gives you the .ipa file. from your desktop/download folder/ wherever you save it to, just drag it into iTunes. This automatically puts it in the Apps section; then sync it. You don't need any additional mods or software. I've just found v1.6 which I've now got coming down. It's about 2gb though.
  11. Torrents, then plop it in iTunes. I'm using Europe v1.5 at the moment. That Installous link to v1.6 ALWAYS fails. TBH, as it's about 1.6gb, I can't imagine Installous ever successfully installing it. I tried to get v1.6 (the latest version) a while ago on torrents but couldn't. v1.5 is fine if you can find it. If you can't and want it, let me know and I could mail it to you.
  12. You have to Jailbreak the iPhone and install a cracked version of TomTom. It's a great App, but not everyone will be up to / want to do it. The pick of my Apps: - Echofon (for Twitter) TapaTalk Spending (used for my income/outgoings for work) Angry Birds (of course) Sky+ Record Flixster (movie times, previews, reviews etc) RadioBox (internet radio on your iPhone - NO FOOTBALL COMMENTARY though) Sound Hound Sky Sports Football Score Centre FL Football Sky News Bike Hub Voucher Cloud Auto Trader Right Move Amazon eBay Urban Spoon Remote iDisk AccuWeather TheTranLine Cab4Me Traffic Info Tube Map AppBox Pro DropBox NatWest My O2 EDF Energy Tesco Clubcard Starbucks Subway Subcard BorisBikes SayNoTo0870 Cydia Installous MyWi 4.0 3G Unrestrictor
  13. The kit doesn't add half a stone to the wearer: it's just that (apart from kids) it's generally fat losers that wear replica shirts. It's their fat that makes them look fat, not the shirt they're wearing.
  14. I get mine washed outside, then inside and out on alternate weeks and have used all of those mentioned. Wilton Road used to be the best around but then went downhill FAST under the last owners. Haven't used them since the most recent change of ownership a few weeks ago, but now would only try them again if I was desperate. The one by ASDA is hit and miss as to how well they clean and I avoid them now as there's much better around. The Turkish fellas at the Jet garage on Paynes Road have always been good, but not been there in a fair few months. The two best ones by a LONG way are the one opposite the train station entrance (Toys R Us side) and DIDA by The Station Pub / Kwik Fit on Bitterne Road. Both do a brilliant job every time with their respective owners quality checking each job and getting the cleaners to redo things if something's not up to their high standards. Go to either one of these two and you'll never want to take your car anywhere else.
  15. Idiots. They could send their wives in instead.
  16. If we can 't stop Brighton winning the league, at least this will.

    iPad

Not really. You can now pick up a brand new one for £429 with full warranty. THAT's a good price. However, if you don't mind second hand then there should be some real bargains in the coming weeks and months after iPad 2 is on sale.

    1. Very happy. 2. Web browsing, mail, video, music, photos, games. 3. Given what know now, I would not have upgraded my MacBook to the unibody one a year or so beforehand. I would have stuck with the old white one and just made more use of my Mac mini instead. The instant on, form factor and immense battery battery life make the MacBook redundant on my travels. Despite the support for a keyboard, word processing and 'work' apps, I'm not sure it could be a justifiable permanent replacement for a work machine or laptop. Having said that, with the print options now available, it would easily complement it. Owning one is a bit like owning an iPhone: when you didn't have one you wondered if you can justify the expense, if you really need one and would really make good use of it; Then once you own one you wonder how you ever lived without it. Team it up with an Apple TV to stream your photos, music, video etc and it's amazing.

  21. If you use iBooks on a greenpois0n Jailbroken iPhone or iPad running 4.2.1 then some improperly signed Apple code stops the DRM-protected books from opening. Clever. To get around this, don't restore > re-jailbreak, just add theitalianrepo.com to the Cydia Sources and search> install HunnyPot. this fixes it.
  22. She'd probably think suewhistle had got into her house.
  23. Brilliant filtering of the black hero K u n t a K i n t e there.
  24. ****a Kinte never had to worry about Islamic Extremists.
  25. Yes I was. If he isn't able to crouch or sit on the floor, then he's surely not in good enough physical condition to carry out stewarding duties. What sort of use is he going to be in the event of an emergency, pitch invasion, a fight breaking out or if someone collapses and he can't bend down to assist? There was such a vast area from the barrier at the bottom of the few steps that they called a terrace to the pitchside barrier, that there was no point whatsoever in the stewards standing where they did and obscuring our view. Are our travelling stewards that much of a bunch of softies that they'll do whatever the home club's idiot stewards tell them when it was clearly the wrong thing to do? Even so, it was more that idiot steward's shrugging and smirking attitude that p!ssed me off. The Exeter Head Steward was as much of a d!ck too - shrugging off the complaints, only to then send a lacky over to swap stewards and have them finally crouch down. Completely stupid stewarding which could easily have caused more problems.
