My favourite sporting event of the year.
-
Micah Richards has had a poor season and struggled to get regular first team football and is being sold by Citeeh this summer.
-
There are plenty of decent players in L1 and below who are more than capable given a chance, to play at a higher level.

Hart Carragher, Terry, Fedinand, A Cole Barry Lennon Gerrard Lampard J Cole Rooney

So you don't think Dune/Stanley/Mole/Sword of Honour etc is a bit thick when repeating his Labour government = Socialist and now comparing them with fascists!!!! posts? how on earth can you debate with someone as deluded as that? i think it's sad that openly racist posters are allowed to post on here and even sadder that other Saints fans defend them and condone it.
-
you are wasting your time trying to debate with the thick Stanley. I'm amazed some other posters actually think the same as the deluded racist.
-
you don't seem to have a problem with Ian Paisley and Michael Howard being elected to the Lords? i would have thought someone in the Navy would have more respect givng Prescott's history etc.

Talking sh1te again nazi boy.

AndyNorthernSaints replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Some interesting names there. Out of those not already mentioned i think the following players could strengthen the squad and provide cover for injuries, suspensions and loss of form; Ben Burgess - Forward - Blackpool Danny Butterfield - right back - Palace Arron Davies - midfield/forward - Brighton Shaun Derry - midfield - Palace Jon Macken - Forward - Barnsley Gavin Mahon - midfield - QPR Andy Robinson - midfield - Dirty Leeds Lloyd Sam - midfield - Charlton Sam Sodje - centre half - Charlton Sean Thornton - midfield - Leyon Orient -
Can the title of this thread be changed to represent what really happened.

Some of us remember your views regarding WW2 and the Nazis Stanley.
-
Do England really need to play 6 batsmen and 4 bowlers in this series? it seems to me that England will be looking to play this formation this winter in the Ashes. I would have given Bresnan a chance at 7 and Prior at 6.
-
Do you still think we would have been better off if the Nazi's had won WW2 Stanley?
-
Replace the word right with racist.

India is a rather poor country, although there are some wealth people that live there, as a whole nearly 40% of their population would be considered in poverty. Just because their government chooses to spend their money on nuclear and space programs does not mean everyone has food and shelter and lives a reasonable lifestyle.

Have you got clean drinking water and electricity DD?

Brett Ormerod was part of the best Saints team in decades which got to a cup final and finished 8th in the premier league. Ask Beattie who was his best strike partner? Has Barnard played in the premier league on a regular basis? Has Barnard scored in a fa cup semi final? scored at Anfield etc against Liverpool, scored and set up winning goals in the premier league? Barnard is a decent player at our current level that is why he playing in league 1.
-
Brett at the same age as Barnard is obviously a much better player having played at a higher level.

That's my point though. Cuts in the public sector do have an impact of people who are in need of support. Reduced numbers of workers, low staff morale, people leaving and not being replaced. I think most people will accept a pay freeze for a year as most of us only ever get a 1% pay increase anyway. If pensions are affected then there will be trouble and people will not accept that without a fight. A Conservative government was in power when the community care act came in 1990 which was all very good on paper but resulted in a provider/purchaser split with private care agencies taking over from local authority staff. Cheaper agency carers saved money but have not provided the same level of care from experienced skilled staff who although low paid did the job because they wanted to work/care with people. I agree there are too many people who don't want to work in this country but there are alot that can't work due to illness/disability/carer role etc cuts in education and places at university will not help. Anyway i've got to get back to finishing my 4 year part time Uni degree which i hope will get me a better and more secure job.

does that include everyone who is out of work, ill, old etc?

England and penalties. Here we go again.
AndyNorthernSaints replied to Dark Munster's topic in General Sports
Apparently Leon Best was brilliant at penalties in training for Saints prior to the semi final play off defeat against Derby but when it came to the real thing he hit his pen wide.
