Spot on. Having lived away from Southampton for 20 years and knowing plenty of fans of clubs around me such as Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere, Stockport, Man City, Man Utd, Sheff Wednesday, Leeds etc from work or meeting at games etc i've never met anyone who hated Saints. Like others have said alot of people liked Saints in the past, some have mentioned unpopular Rupert Lowe in past but nothing too unpleasant. Maybe it's the people i meet but the last few years going to new mostly new grounds the fans i've met have been friendly. Just ignore the internet warriors. Bitter people get left behind in life. PS. like previous poster mentioned some older Man Utd fans i work with do mention offside in 76 though.

I left my waterproof jacket in my Ibis hotel room :-( Never been so wet at a game. Hands were so wet i couldn't roll a ciggie. Remember the toilets seemed to be the trees on a hill behind us. Good memories of staying a week out there and getting train to Blacksea coast.

There are bigots on both sides that will never disapear but sending letter bombs attempting to kill someone is just getting crazy. Don't know Neil Lennon personally so no idea if your opinion of him is true.

Since Lennon joined Celtic as a player he has been beaten unconcious in the street, has had to retire from International football because of death threats that the police advised him to take seriously and is now living under 24 hour security while his partner and their young son are moved to safe houses on matchdays. Shortly after he was posted bullets, a hoax nail bomb was sent to him. Facebook has plenty of Lennon hate groups with his picture showing him riddled with bullets or hanging from a noose which have been removed on numerous occssions. Now the nutters and sick bigots are sending letter bombs. If Lennon resigns it will be a very sad day for Scotland and Scottish football.

I used to quite like Brighton and had a soft spot for them with their struggles with Archer - selling of Goldstone ground and finding a new home etc but alot of their fans these days come across as knobs. If Saints raise their game like they can, then we can get a similar performance and result like at Bournmouth.

Agree Khan did look big for weight and McCloskey said he thought Khan was puffing/tiring due to making the weight and it was his plan to take advantage in later rounds. Didn't notice too much of Khan tiring but we will never know. Maybe he took McCloskey too lightly or struggled making weight. Maybe Sky knew McLoskey's style would make Khan look bad. Think other fighters will avoid McCloskey now and he will be stuck at European title level.

The stoppage was a joke. The corner never got a chance to work on the cut. Bit like the Barrera fight an unsatisfactory win. Khan would get some more respect if he offered a rematch, which he wont as he's always avoided certain fighters who make him look bad. Avoided John Murray in the early days and never went via british and european titles etc. McCloskey might have lost every round but it only takes one punch to change a fight. A bad night for boxing.

Thought Saints were unlucky at times in front of goal and have seen us play worse this season and not lose. Seemed to be exposed on the flanks and Harding was poor with both goals Dickson and Richardson sloppy with passing. Difficult to see clearly but Kelv looked at fault with second goal conceded at near post but he has been decent most of season. Lambert was too often outside the penalty area for my liking rather than being on the end of crosses. Lost count of corners and crosses into their box. Anyway enjoyed the real ale in the Cemetary Hotel before the game and a good turnout of Saints ans tonight. Fair play to those who travelled alot further than me. Like many have said Saints never make it easy but still think we will get second as i had this down as our toughest game left. Keep the Faith!

Only have two players trained at club over 21 to register for Europa league and can't continue unless i respond to registeration? Any way out of this?

If he gets fit and is playng in Sweden's top flight can we re-sign him please. Could do a job in League one/Championship IMO.

Not forgetting England's Ashes win was down to him after his classic writing off of Englands chances after the first day of first test.
