Didn’t watch, don’t know anything about the goals but was worried at the sight of the return of the Bedders Stephens CB combo. Either ok with a strong senior partner but weak as piss as a pair. Was this the key problem today?
Wigan beat City a few years back in the final on neutral territory (obviously). We are far better than that Wigan side were (got relegated that very season ffs) and are on home turf. Given these facts it's hard to see anything other that a Saints victory. C'mon!!!
Hunt down and kill Trent Alexander Arnold, Kyle Walker, Luke Shaw, Kieran Trippier, Ben Chilwell, Reece James and probably Arron Wan Bisakka. And don't get caught.
I'd like us to improve on our record of dropping points from winning positions. I'm really not sure how bad our record is in that regard as it never ever gets mentioned but my instincts tell me it must be quite bad.
With respect, that's a shit point. If someone else is better placed to score by squaring it to him then square it to him. He may not be 'great at teeing others up' right now and sometimes yes he's best to be selfish, but sometimes it's absolutely better not to be selfish and that can be coached into him. See Son for Spurs' first goal yesterday.
