We will have a kings ransom coming in TV money soon. Would much rather put a few thousand more seats in the stadium, set ticket prices to fill it, and increase our match day revenue from all the spin-offs. Much better than spunking money thousands of miles away.

Regardless of whether or not you think a top club would sign Vardy, my main point is that Leicester seem to be trying a lot harder than us in keeping their best players. Our business model of selling 1 or 2 of our best players and replacing them with cheaper ones, to be fair, has worked ok up until now, but long term will fail, in my humble opinion.

Why would you think top clubs wouldn't want Vardy, but would want Wanyama or Mane?

Reported that Leicester are going to offer Vardy a new contract worth 90k a week. We'll just carry on with a transfer policy that we will ultimately catch a cold with. We seem to be nothing more than a rich man's Crewe Alexandra.

Koeman has done a magnificent job. If I was Liebherr, I'd let him run the club top to bottom, and get rid of some of the amateurs getting in his way.

I don't blame Ronald for saying what he did. It seems a message is being sent to the board. Why should he be the only manager in the Premier League that can't even use all the money from sales to buy players. Absolutely crackers, straight from the Rupert Lowe book of how to run a football club, and look how that turned out.

I'd sign him. Especially seeing Rodriguez is injured again. £8m is bugger all. We pay £5m for players who don't even play.

Tadic frustrates the hell out of me. Often takes an extra touch rather than being a little more direct. But he is a player that can make things happen. Clasie last week was head and shoulders our best player, although that's not saying much. Like you say, it all looks tactical.
