Travel will not be a problem. I travelled up from Fawley on Monday and EVERY motorway/A-road was fine, roads around the stadium are fine and roads in Colchester city centre is fine. Trains are now running almost back to their full timetable. It won't be a problem. See you Monday.

This is ****e. I've spoken to both National Rail and Highways agency and they've decided that it is not safe to travel tomorrow...apparently, all lines between London and Colchester today were suspended due to frozen track!

I'm leaving my travel plans to the last minute. I'm ringing national rail in the morning to check on train services; if they are bad I'll drive, but if after ringing the highways agency that seems like a bad idea, I can safely say I won't be going! It is silly really that in this day and age, Britain should grind to a halt because of 6 inches of snow.
