  1. Dear neil I hope your missus burns the turkey. CB saint
  2. Lol, well it wasn't that unobtrusive because I started a thread about it!!!
  3. That's why I am asking - I haven't a clue!
  4. Followed a sky van into work today with what looked like a small roof box on the top with wires running out the back of it , so wondering what it is? Detector van?
  5. Gods knows what will happen here. I would keep him until the summer definitely, deal or no deal. Will a deal be signed?, maybe too much water has passed under the bridge for all parties to come to the table again. Maybe jp change in for is due to him trying to secure a move elsewhere. Maybe NC is being inflexible. Maybe jp' s view on what his wages should be are somewhat optimistic.
  6. Les arcs - comborsier. It is a couple of miles of black moguls and once committed there is only one way off the run, the bottom. May not seem too challenging to some of you better skiers, however I went down this on day six of my first ever skiing trip. Suffice to say, I used my belly to over come 95% of the moguls.
  7. Eigth, you are thinking of decosex

I think Turkish just got outraged on the Santa hats thread on the main board
  9. My brother's face when I tell him he has just eaten sprouts again.
  10. Doing morzine this year Went to Whistler last season - if you go, get fit beforehand - the run are huge and you will be knackered after a few otherwise. Previously went to Vallandry ner Les Arcs - great place, close to the les arcs area and the cable car to la plagne - absolutely berserk amounts of skiing available. Great for beginners as well, I learnt there
  11. Comfort. Feeling that someone somewhere is listening to them and looking out for them, a sense of community and belonging that would otherwise would be missing in their lives. I say all that as an atheist. Religion does has a place in society, just not as big a one as it has previously enjoyed, or believes it should enjoy.
  12. David Icke springs to mind

Reckon there could be quite a few people having to apologise to Andrew Mitchell if this turns out to be true.
  14. This is still the diagnosis from two seperate sources, so anything better than that will be much welcomed
  15. Don't forget the "pig in blankets". We also do as many chipolatas as we can fitin the roasting tray. Amazing hot or as leftovers.
  16. Bird - by the best one you can afford - it really makes a difference, imo. If having goose, you might want to cook the legs separately. They need more time than the breast so you can end up with just cooked legs and overcooked breast if you are not careful Sprouts - half them and chop finely. Fry up some pancetta, add the sprouts and stir fry. Towards end add chestnut flavoured butter (bought or homemade) - great stuff. Even managed to con my brother into eating this last year and he would rather lick a dockers armpit than eat a sprout. Wine - we having a californian pinot noir with the bird and a choice of maderia or vinsanto with the pud.
  17. Stick insects?

  19. What do you define as decent overtime. I seem to recall them asking for triple time AND a day in lieu. When you consider they already get 53 days off a year and over £50k, people cannot be blamed for lacking sympathy.
  20. So, have all you clueless wonders sorted out whether downing is pony or what?
  21. I think you will be ok, the Mayans are at least five hours behind us, so if you get out early enough, you can still die with a full belly
  22. Downings situation reminds me of Peter Crouch - big money move followed by dip in form. Seem to remember that he did alright for us, despite most of football (including me) thinking we were mental to sign him.
  23. Never had one there. As to why, my mum always told me it was because I had told a lie.
  24. Apparently Bearsy is your man for these
