I know which one was most likely to ever come to us though.
-
Was that a picture of him in the feature below ? Could well be with our recruitment team.

Rather like Pelligrino, our progress in the Cups has - for the board anyway - masked our run of form, and papered over the cracks. Personally I can't see Semmens/Rasmus attracting someone to make a significant difference in the outcome of our season. Nor are they likely to publicly be seen to admit the error. We therefore have to put our hope in NJ, and that the boardroom buffoons bring in the players they should have done for RH beforehand. Not holding out much hope on the recruitment frankly.

That £20m should be the two-thirds of a CF .... unless of course we've got one coming as well.
-
Oh for a signing worthy of a Potters Heron unveiling....
-
Loan with an option to buy perhaps. Beyond that I've no idea what we've seen in Jackson - other than his 45 minutes and a run against our keystones cop defence - to shell out on him. If he was such a gem, you'd have thought Emery would be busting a gut to get him to Villa.
-
Of all the Super Semmens list of excuses (that he might have learnt from Les) ... ... That has to be the most feeble yet. But well done on getting it in early Martin.
-
The club are relaxed about the situation though...
-
Freudian slip ?

I'm not a linguist but didn't need Google translate for "Offre refusée." Seems to follow us on these things SaintsFCOffre refusée #

I suspect this is what the club are thinking. In their own minds they are lining up Gakpo Mk II. Trouble is, we know it will most likely end up as Gakpo Mk II as well.

Shame we can’t just sign someone like this bloke and announce it rather than having it in the media for a while. Have to wonder though if our interest is just leaked to stir up the pond a bit by agent or his club.
-
Forest signing all and sundry. The way they’re conducting things I reckon they could end up signing a couple of players already on their own books without realising.

On reading that I had the thought of the old comedian Mike Reid (RIP) reworking one of his catch phrases : “ pro - liff - fick !” , said without a hint of sarcasm of course. From the 1970’s in case anyone wonders.
-
Goes without saying - which is probably why they haven’t bothered - that we’ve tracked Charlie Boss over his career and he was always our number one target. And had to fight off last minute interest from a couple of unnamed premiership clubs for his signature.
-
All I know about the bloke is that he either scored or had a good game (half I think at that) against us once. Bit of a 'Nathan Redmond' type of endorsement really, so on that note not too bothered if we sign him or not.
-
Ditto. Even with his injury record I’d prefer Ings to either of the latest Championship strikers named recently.
-
Why will it, or why do you think, it will be any different this month ? Not sure based on a couple of your earlier posts if you are posting with some knowledge or if speculating like the rest of us.
-
Probably aiming for better, but signing better might be a bit like signing Gakpo all over again.
-
Looks fairly clear from Leviticus. Perhaps the club should introduce pre-match or half time stonings. Might boost attendance.

Why was Strachan holding a training session up a tree ?

Credit to NJ for using the word dignity, as opposed to the often misused and default word of "class" which is regularly trotted out.

Thought he came across well in that press conference, very calm, measured and reasonable responses, often to some irritating and banal questions. Personally, I think the fans had a fair gripe to air after the Forest performance and result (especially coming after a poor performance v Brighton, and a typical surrender at Fulham). Questions about tactics, set up, and selection were in order, although not some of the personal vitriol poured out. NJ is entirely justified in having a 'pop' back, but now is time to put a lid on it. For all the press conferences, and cup wins though, he has to do it in the league. Hoping the board provide him the quality players , and especially the striker they failed to deliver for Ralph.

Don't forget Rupert's vision for the catering. Had he stayed we might have been the only stadium with Michelin stars.
