Just make sure you don’t overdo it, and win too many games otherwise me might miss the play offs and go up automatically. -

Seems an unlikely outcome if we have to win the FA Cup Final and Play Off Final in consecutive days. Expect Manning to play in both days though. -
But he was coming from City, so had to be good. Just as Angus Gunn had been before him.
-
I see Bristol City who brushed us aside quite convincingly about 10 days ago lost at Sheff Weds today.
-
Anyone offer any explanation on this, or where it has come from ? “noise”, nothing to do with dissatisfaction over two piss poor results and performances you’d hope.
-
Remember that and at the time thought he was just publicly backing his GK. If he still believes he's the best in the division then he's more deluded than we thought.
-
Fair point. But we still had the January window available to us.
-
Winning games at home v the likes of Millwall, and Rotherham would make it more exciting or perhaps I'm missing something. And not having a porous defence with Bazunu behind them.
-
Isn't the 'False 9' we last used at Juventus ?
-
A critical failure in the summer, and in January. Again.
-
Doesn't have a lot of option there though does he ? That and the strikers available to him, are down to the club rather than him
-
I'm not a fan of his pissing around at the back, and slow build up simply recycling possession, but I think it'd be a greater risk to change manager now. Added to which, the usual question of who would come in and improve things ? Even if you offered me Cooper I'd take the view we'd be better off staying the course with RM. ('old man Steptoe' or 'Lego Head'... difficult one...)

What absolute load of bollocks. Takes “noddyness” to a new level.
-
Agree with you. I think Fisher went on to work as a rep for a Brewery after he retired. Often used to see him in the old East Stand at The Dell, probably buying his own match tickets. Selling the medals does emphasise the gulf in what players earnt then and now. Thought I read that the club had previously bought Peter Rodrigues medal.

Don’t be so disrespectful. “Daily Express 5-a-side Cup - you’ll never win that.. “
-
Can’t blame him for losing our most important player, Downes, due to injury. But the selections of Manning, and how he looks to replace Downes with the ineffective Smallbone is on Martin
-
Has anyone christened him Enzo-head, Pep-head or anything like that ?
-
Serious set backs though. But yes, things can change in a couple of games.
-
No we were too busily occupied in not reaching agreement with Swansea for Martin.
-
Saddest thing is that we’re unlikely to capitalise on it. Bristol City, Hull … great opportunity after a lot of hard work and we balls it up.
-
Most of the doubts were expressed when we were in the Premiership though as I recall. Thought he was quite impressive when they played us, but then again our performance that night probably isn’t a decent yardstick to use.
-
I remember him playing but I was too young to appreciate the finer points of his game you refer to.
-
Sounds perfect for us now. (Going over old ground I know, but I always though Dickson a good player at that level, and was disappointed for him it didn't work out as well as it might have done).
-
David Peach might be up for game as well. Could be handy to bring off the bench in the event of a penalty shoot-out in the playoffs. You know it makes sense. Meanwhile we'll trundle on with Manning.
-
Has unfinished business with this club.
