Yes, I remember that. Pilchards put the name on here in the summer.
-
A week or so ago Still was largely dismissed on here as well.
-
The Everton article as MLG pointed out is old news (probably from last week) The other snippet though is from tonight, but I don’t see any alarm here. Have to wonder if the club are happy and have enabled this to be leaked so after the Cleverly smokescreen there is a wider acceptance of Still coming in. I’m pretty indifferent to both of them to be honest. Certainly no idea how good or bad Cleverly is, or could be , not really had a great opportunity to test himself.

I scan read your post,, and thought I saw the name Pulis... nearly heart attack time seeing that on a thread about a new Saints manager
-
This is certainly part of Saints Forum folklore isn't it ? Although I think it was an earlier version (was it Saints Forever era?)
-
Maybe, perhaps a Norwich or Swansea. Mid-table Championship with an outside chance of a run at promotion. We start next season, with the advantage of parachute payments, and are a relatively attractive option in that league. But that is dependent on making the right player recruitment. Any such advantage could easily be frittered away with the wrong managerial appointment (whether it’s inexperience or just wrong candidate).
-
If we missed out on Still as well …. do you really see other clubs rushing to take a chance on him ? We’re the only daft bastards doing that. This ranks with the appointment of Nathan Jones as giving someone an opportunity in a league and level above their experience.
-
Every bit as underwhelming as the appointment of Martin, but at least he'd had a couple of years in the EFL. Ridiculous gamble.
-
Don't worry if it gets boring he'll spend the rest of the match playing on his X-box.

Wasn't 'Arry a ginger in his younger days ?

Don’t have to see Line-acre presenting MOTD either after this weekend. Not that I’ll watch it much next season. So,that’s over too. -
You might have tapped into something here. In our own way, we’ve found Still, and believe him to be the Simon Clifford of the digital and internet age.
-
Hasn't he already resigned and left his present club ?
-
If I needed further convincing. This, coming from someone who has regularly banged the drum for Legohead, is enough to say Still isn’t the right appointment for us.
-
Similar to what I read (£4m to EPL). And we paid how much for Sulemana???
-
Old expression: penny wise, and pound foolish spring to mind. If true, that they consider him the preferred option - and he has given any encouragement on coming to us - then absolutely ridiculous that we opt for another candidate. Thought we’d reached a point that the £ would be less when relegated. Agree it with DR and resolve the compensation after we officially become a Championship club. Alternatively pay it, and get him in (depending on how much …). When you think how much we’ve wasted on transfer fees, and pay offs, it’s ludicrous not to work a way of getting their preferred option.

What is Lorraine Chase up to these days ? CSDAJFU ?

Is it too early to have a flag, or perhaps a flypast, telling him to fuck off ? -
But not to sound like a Cockney barrow boy, or wheeler-dealer...
-
Plus :Preferably no beard, no skinny jeans, and to save Wade the trouble, I'll also add not to look as if he 'vapes like a cunt'.
-
When you say seen of him, is this something you've seen, or just something he's told us in one of his interviews about himself ? Before getting too excited about this character based on the youtube clips it's worth remembering that both Martin and Nathan Jones have featured in these tactical Masterclass videos telling us how they set teams up.

Does all have quite a 'Germanic' feel to it. Have wait and see where this particular trail of breadcrumbs lead with the managers job.
-
Which one ? Pirece Charles (Shea's brother) is highly rated. BUT - you'd hope we'd have learnt about signing and putting young players in at the deep end too early.
-
Which one, or who, are you referring to ?
-
Perhaps it would have been better described as CV rather than track record then. By this I’m referring to his time at Bayern, Germany WC squad, and the upturn in form at Sheff Weds.
