Spot the difference !

I read he received the planning on his house but subsequently announced he was going to live in Monaco. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/feb/23/neighbours-angry-as-selfish-jim-ratcliffe-leaves-new-forest-home Perhaps we're his 'retirement project'.
-
Whenever I've read anything about him it states he's a longstanding Man Utd supporter although had a ST at Stamford Bridge as he was living in London. I think the name has been regularly touted on here, but can't help thinking if he was interested he'd have made a move by now, what has changed ? Can't see it happening unfortunately.
-
What's his track record with us ?
-
Think you're being a bit kind with that description.
-
Would prefer him to return to us in a reasonably fresh condition, and not injured or knackered.
-
League Cup finalists have always had a greater % of tickets than FA Cup.
-
Clubs certainly get a bigger allocation for SF but that may be due to the fact that the FA don't distribute as many tickets , if at all, to all other clubs. I think many of the corporate seats are available for all showpiece games (so not JPT etc, but internationals, FA & League Cup).
-
Not disputing what you say, but is that what the FA Cup (SF) has become ? It may be a good time for the arm chair viewer but doesn't feel right for the football fan/purist. Suppose it would have been a more conventional time if fans were attending so hopefully it doesn't become a precedent. Still, good to know we can compete with all time classics like The Onedin Line, Poldark, and All Creatures Great & Small for prime time Sunday evening tv. Wonder what the BBC or the producers net spend was.

Yesterday's news: https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/james-rodriguez-returns-everton-training-20257656 Doesn't say returned to training wearing high heels or anything like that.

In an interview once Lawrie said he considered signing Frank earlier, after we were promoted in 1978, and then again when Keegan was with us. Now that would have some team, Ball, KK, Channon and Worthington. Shame that come about. It was strange how his form picked up as we went on our cup run in 1984. He'd been pretty average, if not poor, before Christmas but was outstanding after. His goal against Coventry in the 8-2 received the greatest response from the fans that day, moreso than Moran or Danny Wallace's hat trick goal.I think that was his last game for us. Certainly a great entertainer.

God I remember that place was when sold musical instruments (early 70's) before it became a toy shop Saw him in there once, seemed a decent bloke. Surprisingly no Air Hostess on his arm. Not living up to the standards set by Osgood.
-
Think I'd go for that at the moment.
-
Unless it's a Rank Xerox replica, in which case it'll be fine.
-
It was.
-
And still won't this season unfortunately.

If they move our game to before the SF then they'll also have to move Leicester v West Brom As we're due to play WBA on Monday 12th its questionable if they could squeeze the extra fixture in unless Thursday (if we play Sunday), or if our WBS match is brought forward to the weekend but that is probably already set in stone for tv purposes.
-
Camel ?
-
yes, you're correct, my mistake about the internationals.
-
Can we now close this thread, for a fortnight at least ?
-
Can you imagine the hysteria had we lost today ? This would have lasted through the international break. Would hope this gives some confidence, and positivity looking ahead to a SF. Hopefully the break gives a chance for other players to build fitness (KWP for example) and others to return when we restart (Ings and Walcott) in April. I think Ralph and co need the mini-break to regroup. Just hope neither JWP or Armstrong pick up injuries whilst away.
-
Noticed that three of our possible opponents (Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd) all play in European matches the week before the SF date (17th April). Sod's Law then that we end up facing Everton or Leicester. Looking at the fixtures ahead of the SF and slightly concerned that those running the game will insist we play the rearranged fixture v Palace in the week ahead of the semi, and we're already due to play WBA on the Monday night. So, would they insist on a Thursday v Palace if our SF is on a Sunday ? As it's only Saints they probably will. The following week is another wasteland of Internationals.
-
Have to hope this gives him the confidence boost for the rest of the season.
-
Might have been a League Cup win in there with those two under Puel though had they been available.
