With news of Ings injury and operation perhaps the focus will change again ...

Great shame but if it's 4-6 weeks then so be it, Theo can grasp the opportunity to earn a new contract. Think I read - may have been on here - his most prolific time with Arsenal was playing as more of a striker than being stuck out on the wing ? Just hope the injury isn't one of those rolling injuries where 4-6 weeks becomes 4-6 months. Saints have got a bit of a record for underplaying injuries, Salisu for one.

Thought Chivers left c 1968.

Was December 1981, a few days after we beat Man Utd 3-2 (Armstrong's last minute goal after KK's overhead 'goal' was disallowed). Remember it well.
-
Ah, but how do we know that wasn't taken during the warm up ? (My recollection by the way is that he did play a match, or a half for England by the way).

10 according to this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54773207

"scout troop ... blindfold... erection.." in the same sentence. You must be entitled to some compensation somewhere surely.

Excellent result. Always nice to beat those c^nts, although if we beat them every season between now and doomsday it won't be full recompense for 1984.

Begs the question, what happened to the appointment of a new Head of Recruitment ?
-
Surprised they're not arranging an all night vigil for Virgil. Socially distanced of course.

Austin not even on the WBA tonight.

It is quite possible that she inserted a clause that she had first option on his shares, and vice versa, but once she's passed up that opportunity he'd probably be free to sell as he saw fit. (Hopefully not).

Wonder if it's agreed between all parties, Gao - DaGrosa & Kat. Presumably they would have sounded her out before it goes to the PL , or would he have to go the PL for 80% stake ? None of us know, but does she have a veto ? Unfortunately all of our ill informed speculation is a waste of time, we can only sit back and watch it unfold. Get it right this time Kat, please ?

Wonder how Brian O'Neill would have managed with that. He would have needed an exemption clause.

Do SISA even still exist ?

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
Badger replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
I saw he was playing v Faroe Islands. Even he should excel against that opposition. No sign of Champions League Hojberg in the team or on the bench. Don't know if he was completely omitted from their squad, perhaps he's injured having sprained a tattoo against Man Utd. -
which would result in a postponement presumably.

Was going to suggest Mick Mills but read he only had 42. That being the case, I'd say Alan Ball on signing for us a second time whilst KK was with us.

A good read. Thanks for posting and good luck for your season too. Europa League would be good but possibly a bit too much of a leap for us this season. But a match in Brittany if we were drawn against your team would be good, once things return to normal.

Please no, not that embarrassing chant. Conveniently overlooks the fact he pissed off 14 years ago.

I thought it was two players maximum, but only one from a single club. But could be wrong of course.

Shame if true (depending on fee of course).
