Didn't get there today but on seeing him v Huddersfield that's not a comparison I'd make. Schneiderlin even when he first arrived had a physical presence about him (think he is 6' or near to it), whereas Smallbone looked aptly named and a bit of a shortar$e and lightweight. No reason why he can't make it but if he does progress then we need a bit more strength and power in midfield to compensate.

Perhaps a couple of robust challenges on him and a couple of others early on would not go amiss. Sure he wouldn't want to miss League Cup final the following week. Don't think his ego would let him "repent", how may chances do you give him ? I think he should be filed along with Osvaldo as an expensive egotistical flop. This sums it up for me. Clearly the "black box" did it's homework on attitude when bringing him in, or did Les switch that particular filter off. Think the club would be delighted at taking £12-15m for him too, but can't see anyone offering that for him.
