Just seen that Blind has been sacked by Netherlands. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39400842 Wonder if it'll be a kiss and make up by their FA & Koeman, (if he doesn't get a sniff at the Arsenal or Barcelona jobs).

Ditto.
-
I think after the last "leak" it was also suggested there were two other parties in the running, including another Chinese and an American interested, with the American's described as the preferred option.
-
Hope they're not a Chinese SISU. Where's Paul Allen's yacht when you need him?
-
Don't fall for that spin. It makes it sound as if they were going to be destitute and lining up at the soup kitchen had he stayed.
-
Fraser's preferred method of stopping a low shot like that is to stick an ankle out at it.
-
Suspect EH is more involved in things at AFCB than we seem to want our managers to be.
-
Seem to recall that song at Saints a few years ago, possibly during one the promotion years. Strange they didn't mention that in the News article.
-
RK obviously learnt this at The Les Reed School of Economics

As shown by the inclusion of Jake Livermore !! There used to be a joke (1980's probably) that FAI stood for Find Another Irishman as they trawled ancestry for players. I don't think the FA are too far behind that now, scrambling for Premiership players. But you can't take it away from JWP & Redmond it's a tremendous achievement for them, hope they don't become Lallana's after rubbing shoulder with the England squad. One thing we seem to buck the trend on is players performing better for club than country, albeit at U21 level, where JWP seems to make a greater contribution for them than us (perhaps same can be said for Steven Davis as well for NI), wonder if he might continue this trend at senior level.

Strange, but I think another year with us would have made him more attractive to Arsenal or Barcelona than he is now. Another finish between 6-8th with us would have been noted and be seen as an achievement. Instead of which he's likely to finish 7th with Everton. Is that such an "achievement" ? They are afterall a "big" club in many people's eyes, and he's had money to spend and a player such as Lukaku at his disposal.
-
He really has turned into a bit of a rent-a -gob since leaving, giving needless interviews with nothing particular to say, perhaps only saying things to justify his move to himself. This is the latest crap to be spouted to justify a move: Did he have any other option than to sign for West Ham ? And did it really take him nigh on six years to feel isolated and away from his or his wife's family ?
-
Interesting article, but like many aspiring a move he sets out the wish for Champions League. Thought this was an interesting phrase/part of the translation: Something I've seen on here referred to as a "brain fart". This was the incident: What comments on here if that had been Boruc, or FF ?
-
I think its a case of any two in the side, the other on the bench.
-
Would have thought Hart to Everton was more likely. Be amazed if they want to sign FF. As I said earlier, if we do sign a new GK I expect it'll be an import. (Finnish bloke playing in Germany seemed to have the hallmarks of a Saints type signing).
-
I give up. Who are you referring to ?
-
Sad reflection that despite his success at the Euro's last summer this remains the topic the press choose to ask him about, or he chooses to be interviewed on. Purely to put the record straight of course.
-
Exactly, if he keeps saying it, long enough and loud enough he'll even start believing his own version of events. Especially when he reads it in the paper the next day. Sad ending to his time with us, and he knows it.
-
I can't see Burnley being prepared to sell Heaton, and unless a regular top 5 type club was bidding he might not see it as such a step up. Pickford as many have previously said will be targeted by bigger clubs than us. If we are recruiting a new GK to take over as No 1 then I suspect it'll be one from the continent. As for selling FF, not sure he's such an attraction now as he was twelve months ago.

An end to Adidas three stripes running down the sleeve then ? All regulations and allowing of advertisements is an incredible change in shirt design from years gone by. Remember the uproar over Jimmy Hill's Coventry's Talbot shirts in the late 1970's ?
-
Never a fan of that shirt at the time or since, but your mock up looks better than the original.
-
Yes, but with the sash reappearing every 25 years.
-
Be interesting to see if he ever makes it on to the pitch for them.
-
Being pedantic, the white front is probably too wide. Although then again it might have to be to comply with next season's ridiculous plain back ruling.
-
Probably also monitoring the promotion fight and who doesn't come up. Billing at Huddersfield, March at Brighton for example.
