I don't think the FA are too far behind that now, scrambling for Premiership players. But you can't take it away from JWP & Redmond it's a tremendous achievement for them, hope they don't become Lallana's after rubbing shoulder with the England squad. One thing we seem to buck the trend on is players performing better for club than country, albeit at U21 level, where JWP seems to make a greater contribution for them than us (perhaps same can be said for Steven Davis as well for NI), wonder if he might continue this trend at senior level.

Strange, but I think another year with us would have made him more attractive to Arsenal or Barcelona than he is now. Another finish between 6-8th with us would have been noted and be seen as an achievement. Instead of which he's likely to finish 7th with Everton. Is that such an "achievement" ? I can't see Burnley being prepared to sell Heaton, and unless a regular top 5 type club was bidding he might not see it as such a step up.
