I remember someone posting about this defender or centre half after a pre-season friendly, saying how good he looked, and did anyone know who it was 'cos he looked one for the future etc. The response was Ryan Tafazolli , although clearly did not live up to the billing. So, moral of the story is that like youtube clips, and a 'playing out of your skin world cup series' , pre-season friendlies at Eastleigh may not be the best place to judge a player in the making. Pleased that he's obviously done something okay at Mansfield after leaving Saints though.

I suspect it will be easier to buy Forster from Celtic than Marshall from Cardiff.

Agree, missed a trick in not appointing John Williams. With all this going on where is Ralf ? Perhaps he only does motivational, rather than demotivating speeches/press conferences.

Still think that if he is determined to go we should refuse selling him to Liverpool or MP. Shame Barcelona aren't pursuing their reported interest.
