  1. Good suggestion.
  2. Fonte ?
  3. I put his 'speech' and emotions down to having the personality of a wet lettuce , but there you go.
  4. He can shove his fake gratitude and platitudes up his arse. Any 'letter' to fans from AL will be as hollow as all his badge kissing.
  5. Still down.
  6. Are there any of their offcasts we need or want ?
  7. De Vrij and Martins-Indi play for the same club as Pelle , so not sure how he could have "bullied them".
  8. Ridiculous fee - £6m (-£8m top) I'd have thought. I expect we could prise Forster from Celtic for less than Marshall. I read Terence Kongolo was a left sided CB, who can also play LB.
  9. Its good to see an effort to communicate with the supporters, especially after the last character who barely gave a toss from day one. Of course the RK Twitter account will probably be withdrawn at some stage after the first controversy ( criticism of a ref or team performance etc).
  10. Has a reasonably successful cv , so be pleased with this if it comes off.
  11. .. better to have one who speaks English as their first language though... Not serious are you ? Given his nickname above he sounds straight out of the Dennis Rofe school of coaching.
  12. Forster , possibly a double deal with Celtic to bring Van Dyke here as well.
  13. Does WGS still live in Warsash ? If so, would be in an excellent position to monitor the player if he comes, could even invite him round on Burns night, or lodge with him even ! Paltry £1m bid rejected. Doubt WBA will be chucking money around, so its up to us if we want him - or Kolo - to make our interest known quickly.
  14. Trouble with appointing that shortarsed scouse **** is that Ronald or Erwin will spend far too much time trying to translate what he says into English for the benefit of the squad.
  15. Another of RK's proteges likely to be on the move, Bruno Martins Indi, to Porto 8.5m euros. http://www.telegraaf.nl/telesport/wk-voetbal-2014/22794745/__Martins_Indi_naar_FC_Porto__.html
  16. As asked on an earlier thread, does he offer any pace as well, or just Lallana-like nifty footwork ?
  17. This has previously been reported in the UK press as a likely move after the WC. I expect RK will make an enquiry, but if mancs are interested then we're buggered. Hope he has a bust up with Van Gaal in the next couple of weeks !! Or perhaps we'll pursue Van Dyke instead.
  18. That is something we'll never really know. Personally, I suspect the owners 'request' to take an interest in events, and seeking some greater accountability was also a sticking point.

  20. I'm glad to see someone else making these comparisons. For all the big talk, NC was just frittering someone else's money and legacy. No wonder KL wanted to take an interest. We should be thankful she didn't just pull the plug, leaving the club to whither. Anyway, what happened to the theory of Mr Big coming back on a white charger, with a wagon train of Arab's money to buy the club.* * if not Arab money then Dalian Wanda's personal credit card.
  21. We have a lot to be grateful to the Liebherr family, and I hope they maintain their interest in the club for years. So no, I do not want KL to sell, but I am concerned about the 'advisers' and those around her. Whatever Reed has achieved on the sporting side over the last few years, he still comes across as a bit of a PR disaster , especially if working in parallel with Kruegar. John Williams might have given the board a bit more 'gravitas' and experience to handle things better. Difficult to conclude this, perhaps NC's demands of working in way he was unaccountable to the owners for his spending of their money was an unacceptable demand ? With a bit more humility on his part perhaps NC might still be at the helm.
  22. Did seem a bit of a gaffe didn't it ? Although not a fan of Rupert, I preferred his "we're not going to be pushed around by a bunch of North London Yobbo's". * *even if he did sell then Dean Richards about four months later.
  23. Interseting wishlist, although I suspect Blind is out of our grasp. For me its: GK : 1 (Marshall, or Forster ?) LB : 1 (Robertson or Tim Kolo ?) CB : 2 ? (De Vrij, Martins Indi, or Van Dyke, also paper report re Caulker) MF : 1 assuming no further transfers out but no idea who, other than Clasie although Tadic is rumoured on here, and a previous link to Grenier( might be good if Morgan stays) Strikers : 2 Pelle & Ings , unless RK can persuade one of the Dutch kids such as Depay.
  24. We're only two seasons into the Premiership to put some perspective on it. That said, having a manager who will take the cups seriously might make a significant difference.
  25. Expect the scouse wit will come up for a song about it if he does fail. Probably something by Gerry & The Pacemakers.
