  1. Few extra details including Innsbruck being in Germany Clearly well researched as ever.
  2. Perhaps Katharina will just email Dalian and ask if he wants to rent one of our fast food outlets in the Kingsland , to flog a few spring rolls before the match and at half time.
  3. Should have been ' The Rupertdome' when first built.
  4. No mention of beers available next season, or beer prices either.
  5. But I'd be happy for their name to be on the ice hockey arena when they build it...
  6. No. St Mary's is an integral part in the Saints history, from the original name.
  7. Good idea. Having got rid of someone who was I think by most standards was successful, but alienated a few along the way, replace him with someone who was, I think most would agree, unsuccessful and alienated everyone. That would be real progress.
  8. Dressed as Freddie Mercury again are you Ottery ? It all goes on in Devon.
  9. Probably, but don't hijack the thread with them !!
  10. Good work KL. Can't argue with that on first reading it.* *although we know some on here will do so.
  11. Perhaps you picked up on this phrase on the other thread: being unknown to date, is not a problem, but seeing 'little' & 'Austrian' in the same sentence might strike a chord...
  12. Do not employ Simon Clifford Improve the catering to its former glory Bring back a radio station Put a picture of a train in the boardroom
  13. Does he live in the same street as Dalian Wanda ?
  14. 'Arry was of course a dinosaur and that was never going to work. How well disposed Poch might be to someone from another sport remains to be seen, but my initial thought is that he will be sceptical. As for "counsel, advisor" , what do you see him offering ? Not knocking your suggestion but intrigued given your knowledge of Krueger.
  15. oh, and Ms Liebherr, Just in case it has been suggested to you: DO NOT BRING SIMON F^CKING CLIFFORD BACK
  16. I don't necessarily disagree with you, and the comparison between what has recently been accepted, and what SCW tried to implement has not been lost on me. Irony that Cortese has received widespread praise for his part in this, and Lowe roundly condemned. The change in attitude is partly due to a more scientific approach to football, but also in how it is presented, (plus being done at time we are progressing as opposed to when we could ill afford it, or not at all.). I doubt this will universally accepted without some mockery, although had it been NC's brainchild his 'journo-lackies' would have lapped it up as a masterstroke. I'll reserve judgement and wait to see if this happens, and how this fits into the picture, and what the blokes remit is.
  17. Wasn't that from a Jim Steele error ? If its the game & goal I'm thinking of. But another contender, from that game is the referee, Rudi Gloekner from recollection, not giving a definite penalty at an important stage of the game.
  18. Probably the winner, marginally shading Rupert.
  19. As I said earlier, SCW Mk II
  20. Adrian Heath's mother should have had an abortion.
  21. So, thinking ahead KL is looking to relaunch Southampton Vikings ?
  22. Our new manager ? Or consultant coach - a new SCW episode in our history ?
  23. How strange, I thought he'd grown a 'full set' to appear on the opposite channel:
  24. I think he's hedging his bets, as he probably said on Saturday that Poch was leaving, now this. Either way, he can now claim to have "told you so" when the dust settles.
  25. yes, I can see them dividing some of the responsibility rather than leaving one person dictating every direction.
