I can't see Huddersfield selling Rhodes at this stage of the season. They are , to my knowledge, fairly well run and financially secure. Rhodes is worth more to them by getting them promoted than £4m.

Guly has been an enigma since he arrived at the club, sublime skill one minute, hapless clown the next , sometimes in the same game. Today was woeful, including swinging his foot at air after six minutes on the six yard line. We were waiting for De Ridder to come on with ten minutes left, but it didn't happen.Not saying he would have defended their corner but he would provide a threat going forward.It is slightly worrying if we have substitutes on the bench that we now have little confidence in if they are called upon.

I certainly wish Chaplow had been on the end of the chance Schneiderlin squandered near the end, or one of the two Guly had in the second half.Either chance would have put the game to rest.

I've no doubt Lucas would like to join us, subject to terms being correct etc but my view - not ITK etc - is that if we had wanted to sign him we would have completed a deal before the November loan period ended. I have never been keen on the badge since its launch in 1974 . There have been numerous attempts on here to offer a new and better design , Gecko in particular came up with some spectacular alternatives.

Be surprised if they were at SMS so close to our fixture with them, and two and a half weeks before the window opens, or if Palace were willing to sell in view of a cup semi final coming up.

For the past couple of transfer windows I've been expecting a new GK , to provide greater competition to KD , and eventually succeed him. Events on Saturday probably have reinforced that, so perhaps January will be the time.

He may indeed have a good attitude, and be innocent, but irrespective of this and the outcome of the case, I would be surprised if we took on a player who might be unavailable for a (minimum) couple of weeks during a key time in the season.

According to the first link you posted, the trial is set for March , which might prove a bit of a distraction from our promotion push. In light of this , I suspect we will steer clear.

New name and suggestion to me. I note some of their posters refer to a pending court case for him ,not sure if that is the sort of track record NA & NC will want to bring in to the building.
