I'd forgotten about that, which of course explains why they were so hated by most clubs around that time.Add the memory of that slimey kerb crawler in white shoes dancing on the pitch at Maine Road to complete the picture. Wasn't there a fanzine or record at the time "An irrational hatred of Luton" ?

The older brother is over 30 whereas Elliot Ward is 24 and has his best years ahead of him.Hopefully AP is bringing in some players to build for the future as well as the experience of Jaidi etc.

On reading of this at first I assumed Saints fans were doing it to take the p!ss out of them being a hotbed for terrorists. Even worse it seems their neanderthal support tries to identify with their 'terrorist community'.What a bunch of retards.

If anyone remembers going to Luton in the 80's when they were in their pomp, then you will recall it was a cesspit of a ground surrounded by a cesspit of an area more suited to the Indian sub-continent than europe. Their fans - goaded by that curly headed spastic Foster - were equally odious. Whilst you always feel for genuine fans who are disadvantaged by the clubs misdemeanours - possibly excluding the skates of course - memories of the nasty little club Luton were all those years ago meant I couldn't give a monkeys about their fall into oblivion out of the league.

I suspect Ward to be the more likely target.

What did Craddock play like for Luton ? Any likelihood we will renew alleged interest?
-
He has been a key to their rise over the last few seasons but at nearly 28 this is is the highest level he has played at in his career.Although the same could of course be said for Lambert. His age would seem against him but anyone remember Matt Elliott, almost signed by Souness for Saints but went to Leicester instead,at about the same age and was outstanding for them in the prem for the next 5 or 6 seasons ? (Good user name by the way).

If we were looking at a young centre half then I would prefer Craig Dawson from Rochdale as highlighted by someone ( possibly Chez) on another thread. Of course there is nothing to say that Aarron Martin might not prove himself for us.

Ted was far too much of a gentleman to take delight in their plight. Many of the rest of us aren't though...

So poor old Pimply ended up funding his trip ! -
And crap ever since he left us for Stoke. Not sure if he is still with Stoke. If he is maybe a swap with Pulis.

But they will still attract attendances of 65,000 every home game and buld a megastadium on the waterfront won't they ? How will Raquelme cope in the Blue Square ? -
Pretty sure I read that when he joined as well.

Did he not play for Eastleigh in a qualifying round ?

Doubt it as the points deduction is dependant on date.Had we gone into administration a week earlier the deduction would have been last season irrespective of our final league position. Edit:should add that expect skates will be in admin before end of March. Also, rules may differ in the premiership. -
Another reason to detest manu, another reason to detest David James. Everyone's a winner.

Strange isn't it how a player can plummet in the eyes of the fans so quicklywithout having a real run in the team to make his mark? About two seasons ago Ollie Lancashire was possibly the next big talent to emerge from our academy conveyor belt. When a Sunday tabloid suggested Everton and Blackburn were looking to nick him many posted on here that we could not allow such a talent to go.This came shortly after the Matt Mills fiasco. OL has played in teams desperately short on confidence and ability.Although I fear it when I hear his name read out on the starting line up based on previous appearances I certainly feel the poor bugger deserves a chance in a better team to be judged fairly. Bialkowski is a good comparison, and I still have reservations, but after the start of 2007/8 I hoped never to see him play for Saints again. He too is back in a more confident defence and consequently is not the calamity I feared. Agree with an above post though that OL should be nurtured back into the first team.Grimsby would harm his confidence further and a loan to a better positioned club might aid his development.

Just about every thread or post on here after the Exeter and Colchester matches. Oh and confirmed by an ITK taxi driver I was talking to...

I thoughtTrotman had already f^cked off back to Preston so isn't now available for any match let alone the FA Cup tie.
-
I too remember him as a good player and in form would be a great signing.Big question though remains as to why no club has taken him on ? Attitude ? I heard him interviewed at the start of the season and he sounded level headed so I'm amazed he is still available.

Watching the clip again and I noticed how one of the krauts looks like Mark Wotte and another like Gus Poyet. How apt to have clones with SFC and Brighton connections in there secretly gloating !

That is a face every bit as trustworthy as Rupert's.
