  1. Perhaps your mate is taking the p!ss. Was he recommended by Mr Cholmondely-Warner ?
  2. I suspect you will be proved right here, and I also feel we will regret Patterson's departure in a couple of seasons.
  3. I have been thinking along these lines also. When SMS was under construction, possibly even in theplanning stages, the Police were involved in discussions over the away area, and their control room sited immediately above it. Do they now have a new control room,or just invest in some high power binoculars?
  4. Showing your age...or a good memory! Sorry can't remember which film it was in but can picture and hear the hapless Norm shouting the name.
  5. loan or permanent ? Personally I'd be reluctant to release him permanently at this stage of his career before we can really see what he is capable of.A year loan to Torquay or similar would be the best option.
  6. Interesting to read that MK might want a Saints player in return for freeing Puncheon from his deal with them. Wonder if they would take Pulis and Forecast.
  7. Perhaps it went out of the window with the realisation over the last decade that you need someone competent to make the right appointment and then support him.
  8. From the Guardian article : Anyone know this chap,is he a member of the Italian Saints ? One other thing which I recall reading about NC when he arrived was that he was an Inter supporter.
  9. Not going to happen in my view.
  10. Good news indeed.
  11. Letter to the club required. Or a massive campaign.
  12. Does Graham Poll's count ?
  13. Really ? I lived near Reading when that was built and even spent a summer job as a student working on the building site.First year it was really operational was 1980. As for Burley,I expect Reading will be forced into offering it their caretaker - big mistake probably - and end up sacking him in 6-9 months.
  14. West Brom away in the 5th Round might be a good omen.

Quite an admission : Have to have some sympathy with this view though: ..although the last paragraph is amusing. Same bloke : AGAIN ?
  16. A 1960's revival ?
  17. Fialka's sister - who we were once told lives in Skatesmouth - launches a bid to buy them.News breaks in The Jewish Chronicle first. Terry Venables then launches a legal battle to prove he is still the real legal owner of PFC having once bought them for a £1.
  18. Surprised they don't feature more pictures of John Pondsmouth Football Club Westw^nk on their site really, especially in view of his universal "celebraty" status.
  19. Taken off the Facebook link: Good to see the standard of literacy in skatesmouth is improving.
  20. Inciting hatred of a gypo or pikey might be.
  21. Al Pardew's St Valentines Day Massacre. I feel a T-shirt coming on.... Actually it would be good to beat the skates before the f^ckers go out of business altogether
  22. Perhaps Walkers will use some old footage of Len Fairclough (Peter Adamson) with Gary in their next campaign then....
  23. Good post by the QPR fan. I hate that John Motson is portrayed as ' Genial John' ,everyone's favourite uncle figure on BBC yet he is a miserable old c^nt when kids approach him for autographs (and possibly a sheepskin wearing trouser fumbler) in real life, Man U...just hate them, their plastic fans and the salivating arselicking media coverage..and anyone playing for them now,and for evermore... (ditto Everton) none too fond of the Yids (the white hart lane variety) either. Also: Cup draws that have been prostituted for the benefit of ITV Making celebrities out of second rate players as analysts ..(clue there) such as Brazil and Townsend Token ethnics such as Crooks and Earle who would not be there in the first place but for... Christ the list is endless.... (oh and the Redknob and the skates...of course)
  24. Dean Moxey looked a promising player at Exeter before his move.
  25. Never particularly liked Ipswich but am now fairly indifferent to them as a club.Thoroughly detest Keane though, an utter 'dog turd'. As for Stern John I've no reason to boo the bloke at all.A saviour in the first season and after his treatment the folowing year can't blame him for wanting a fresh start elsewhere.
